The Trump administration announced new sanctions against Russia on Wednesday over its meddling in the 2016 election. Democrat Conor Lamb appears to have won a special election in Pennsylvania. The next election on the calendar is the Illinois primary next week, which may have some interesting clues for Democrats for the fall. Thousands of students walked out of school across the country on Tuesday — the one month anniversary of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School — to protest gun violence. And the Senate voted to roll back Dodd-Frank, the banking regulations created in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis.
