The Weekly Dartscast

#178: William Borland, Mac Elkin, Simon Hall, Grand Slam Review

Nov. 26, 2020

Co-hosts Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are back with a new episode and there's plenty to discuss following a busy week which saw a new PDC major winner crowned, along with the big announcement on the 2021 PDC World Championship. First, TSMC Ltd boss Mac Elkin (10:04) calls in to reflect on a whirlwind 2020 so far for his stable, with Dimitri Van den Bergh, Glen Durrant and Jose De Sousa all winning their first PDC major titles. Next, Simon Hall (40:25), the head of marketing at Nodor International, joins us to talk all things Winmau and Red Dragon, including Michael van Gerwen's first year at Winmau, the boom in darts at home during lockdown, and much, much more. Finally, William Borland (1:04:14) calls in from Coventry ahead of his Players Championship Finals debut this weekend, and also looks back on his career so far and his first year on the PDC ProTour. Enjoy!
