The Early Church met together in corporate worship (in the temple courts) and in community groups (in homes). As these disciples grew spiritually, they began to recognize the needs of the people in the places around them. Instead of only giving money to help those in need, they also shared Christ. Christ Jesus is the One who transforms lives. Even though they knew persecution would come, they were bold and shared the love of Christ with others. What about us today? As we give money to help the poor, are we also willing to speak up about Christ to others? Jesus Christ is the Hope of the world. As we share Christ with others, God’s Church grows and lives are transformed for eternity. Join the movement!
