O2 Making Waves 11th Apr'08 - GreenLights

April 11, 2008

Electro-pop-rock ensemble Green Lights burst forth from the Irish music scene in the summer of 2006 and wasted no time in establishing themselves as one of the most unique and exciting bands to come out of Dublin in years. With their distinctive sound being described as a sonic hybrid of Pavement and Tom Vek (and who doesn't love the sound of that?), Green Lights have swept across the landscape of Dublin's underground music venues like a tune-spewing behemoth, leaving a trail of dropped jaws and eager new fans in their wake. In the closing months of 2007, Green Lights entered the studio to lay down the tracks which would become their debut EP, 'Small Curious Things'. The band recently made our week by dropping into the studio to have a sit-down with us and to chat about the release of their EP this year and what they've got lined up for the future.
