040: Pragya Agarwal: How Creating Art Helped Her Through Depression

Creativity coach Dr. Pragya Agarwal, PhD., is the founder of Hedge and Hog Prints and The Art Tiffen.  The mother of three talks about how she suffered from workplace bullying, and she suffered severe anxiety and depression. Pragya says it got so bad that she almost had a breakdown, and eventually quit her job.  One day, she took an art class and discovered the healing it brought her.  She tells how art and creativity helped her with her anxiety and depression, and brought her peace and calm.  Now, she campaigns for creativity and mental health, aiming to break the stigma of mental health in Southeast Asian communities.
