There were ugly scenes in a small Queensland town over the weekend when both sides of the Adani coal mine fight met face-to-face. A convoy of anti-Adani protesters was confronted with a counter protest. Some say they had rocks thrown at their cars and others were refused service at local businesses. The Adani coal mine is turning into a huge election issue and each side of the debate seems completely immovable. So how did things get this bad?
