It's been 25 years since the death of Kurt Cobain, the Nirvana frontman who heralded rock's grunge era of the early 1990s. The iconic musician tapped into a collective state of mind through earnest songwriting that challenged the angst and alienation of his time. Now, 25 years later, his impact on music remains as important as ever.
