Gilly Flaherty is an English footballer who plays for the West Ham United Women’s team. Gilly is the captain of the team and was recently voted player of the year by her team mates. An England international, she joined West Ham United Ladies on the back of four years with Chelsea F.C. Women, during which the centre-back secured two FA Women’s Super League championships and two Women’s FA Cups. Gilly moved to West Ham having won no fewer than 22 pieces of silverware during her career so far. Gilly made her senior debut for Arsenal in October 2006 in a League Cup contest with Birmingham City at just 15-years-old, and was a part of the Gunners squad that claimed a quadruple of trophies the following season. Gilly also has nine England caps to her name, having made her Lionesses bow in a fixture with China in October 2015. Outside of Football, Gilly has ventured into the world of business having very recently opened up the Cryo Lounge, in Kent, one of only four Cryo centres in the South of England using this ever growing form of treatment. Already she has been working with teams, athletes and even superstar boxers.
