Viking basketball has its season opener on Saturday at Robert C. Byrd in Clarksburg. Coach Derek Mullins talks about his team. Lady Viking basketball is off to an impressive 4-0 start. One of the reasons is newcomer Abby Eastman. The Viking Freshmen opened with a 60-37 win over visiting Warren Local. Coach Vince Riffe was pleased with the Viking's pressure defense. Ripley's wrestlers (3-0) are coming off a win at Ravenswood. Coach Matt Smith talks about Saturday's tournament at John Marshall. Ripley grad Easton Perry is about to wrap up his senior year as an athletic training major at WV Wesleyan.
