Giving birth is one of the most memorable experiences in someone’s life. Yet we know implicit bias and medical racism cause detrimental effects for Black women that can lead to many painful birthing memories. Therefore, who we have on our birthing teams are so important. On today’s episode Terri and Dr. Dom are joined by the doula team, Bare With Me Duo, to dispel myths, share wisdom, and affirm why having a doula or midwife is our ancestral birthright ;)
