Not that often in time are there films that are considered "the best movie you'll never watch twice", however, today we get to talk about one of those. A very realistic tale of a brother and sister in Japan during World War 2 as they are left with nothing, and must simply survive. A masterpiece from the great Studio Ghibli as the animation is still just as impressive today as it was in 1988 as well as breaking the fantasy mold that they created for themselves in their films, just make sure to have a few tissues nearby when you hear the fruit candy jar rattle.
