At Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, we began the first Sunday in Advent. Our senior pastor preached from Colossians 1:15-23 on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Right expectations build us up, and wrong expectations can destroy relationships. Unmet expectations can frustrate us. We expectations do we have of Jesus? We must have right expectations of Jesus, so we can be filled with love, joy, and peace.
