'Sports, Tested COVID Positive': Interview with Keisha Hill, Sports Journalist and Motivational Speaker

Dec. 6, 2020

How can we participate in sport/games as spectators, audience or players if we must maintain distances of 6 feet or more, wash our hands and suppressed shouts of competitiveness with a mask covering our mouth? The question is whether we are being protected from sport or sport being protected from us? Let's say “Sports, Tested COVID Positive”. That is the topic for this episode of Canyouth's Exploration, ‘your topic in a podcast'. Our guest had dabbled into sports journalism; therefore, she understands the impact of the pandemic on the lives of sports in Jamaica and other parts of the world. Sport is as universal as the COVID-19 pandemic. However, is the pandemic affecting sport differently in different parts of the world? If the Cambridge Dictionary defined sport as a game, competition, or activity needing physical effort and skill that is played or done according to rules, for enjoyment and/or as a job, then, can sport dies from COVID-19? We will hear from Keisha Hill: a sports journalist, communication consultant, and motivational speaker. She will also give an empowering story of struggle and achievements. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. --- Send in a voice message: Support this podcast: neither hosts nor alters podcast files.
