Deborah Landau is the author of five books of poetry including Soft Targets and Skeletons (forthcoming ‘23). Her poems appear in The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, The Nation, Poetry, The Paris Review, and The New York Times, and she has received The Believer Book Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship. She is a professor at NYU, where she directs the Creative Writing Program, and lives in Brooklyn with her family.
