Suppose you can understand the nuance and limitations and exploit each frequency range. In that case, you'll have a much easier time mixing records that translate and sound great.
Unfortunately, these things are often overlooked, and this oversight can lead to mixers' chasing their tail ', a situation where they are constantly making adjustments but not making any real progress, ultimately compromising the sound of their mix.
