Christians believe there is a constant, unseen battle being waged for the souls of mankind. People make choices, but forces of true good and pure evil try to influence us toward Jesus or away from Jesus – the central figure. Scripture teaches us that mankind’s main enemy is a predator, Satan, who wants to “take out us,” spiritually speaking.
How does he attack? What are his weapons? How do we defend ourselves, fight back, and pray? And are we playing into his hands when we cheer for the Steelers, Yankees, or Wolverines? Okay, that last one might not be quite as important.
