Battle Scars: Friends of a Wounded Soldier [Curtis Teel]

Nov. 29, 2015

Almost everyone has a good scar story. “A ferocious dog attacked me.” “I fell off my bike.” “I cut myself chopping lettuce.” “I put my hand through the TV after a Browns game.”

Dang. Really?

On the other hand, most people don’t like to talk about their internal scars. Those scars are relatively unseen, so we can go through life without ever telling their stories. Sometimes we even hide them.

Enter: Job.

Job (pronounced jobe) was a good man who lost almost everything – his children, his property, and his health. Deep wounds. Massive scars. He struggles to understand God’s role in his suffering, and – with the “help” of his friends – he searches for answer. Sound familiar? neither hosts nor alters podcast files.
