2. Your mess has a message from God
Matthew 1:20-21 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” (NIV)

a. The miracle of joy
Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. (NIV)
b. The miracle of peace
Luke 2:13-14 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” (NIV)
c. The miracle of salvation
Luke 2:10–11 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. (NIV)
