Illustrated by examples from the authors' own patients to explain what really causes heart disease, debunking many myths and misconceptions. Doneen is the Medical Director of the Heart Attack & Stroke Prevention Center in Spokane, Washington. Kathryn also interviews spoken word artist Arlene Schindler, author of “The Last Place She’d Look”, an uproarious novel about a self-help writer who anxiously faces a milestone birthday by compulsively searching for a serious relationship. Schindler uses humor and affection to tackle topics like dating, marriage, divorce, diets, weight and emotional eating. Schindler has been a Relationship Expert/Guest Guru for America On-Line's Love-on-Line, and a writer/editor for WOMAN Magazine and Playgirl.
