Kathryn interviews holistic wellbeing expert Randi Ragan, author of “A Year of Mindful Living: Seasonal Practices to Nourish Body, Mind and Spirit”. More than 50% of adult Americans suffer adverse health effects due to stress. Excluding the trauma of living in a war zone, most of our stress comes from the makings of our own mind: our perceptions of our experiences that arise out of daily living. Ragan argues that real stress is not the actual event or situation, but our responses to it. br Kathryn also interviews American University professor Chris Palmer, author of “Now What, Grad? Your Path to Success After College”. Palmer teaches grads how to organize a job search, how to ace job interviews, how to be an effective leader, and other lessons that are not typically taught in the college classroom, but can provide a leg up for soon-to-be graduates to achieve success. Palmer is a speaker, author, wildlife film producer, and founder of the Center for Environmental Filmmaking at AU.
