DJ RORK World global DJ, Producer, Remixer and Label owner of Stalwart Records, DJ RORK was born in Paris and started his career 20 years ago. Known as a revered figure of the French electronic music scene, his thorough knowledge of high quality music and his unique technique of mixing lead him to play in the biggest clubs all over the world since 1995, Paris, New York, London, Berlin, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Chicago, Miami, Geneva, Milan, Barcelona, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Marrakech, Prague, Zurich, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Mexico... Music is a passion for him, a vocation we would say and this is what has always driven DJ RORK since he heard his first electronic beats in the late 80’s. At that time House Music was an underground musical genre and he is one of the first DJs who led the way bringing House Music to the French music scene. Considered as a pioneer of this movement in France, he started later on to host his own weekly radioshow on the FM Radio FG 98.2. Absolute master of the turntables, he likes to play across genres and tempos and blend into his dynamic sets his eclectic influences coming from Funk, Disco, Jazz, Soul, Latino, Deep House and House Music. As an influential leader, he keeps on creating and spreading widely deep and soulful vibes, his goal being to share his love for music, always aiming at touching people's "Heart, Body and Soul". DJ RORK has played side-by-side with many renowned DJs such as: Kerri Chandler, Osunlade, King Of Tomorrow, Danny Krivit, DJ Spinna, Pete Tong, Dennis Ferrer, Ultra Naté, Ralf Gum, Jamie Lewis, Kiko Navarro, Martin Solveig, Miguel Migs, Copyright, Rocco, Ben Pearce, Lovebirds, Joey Negro, DJ Meme, Cyrill Hahn, Aeroplane... He produced and released many records that hit high positions in the charts, including: "I Wanna See You Come Down", "Believe" and "Drive On" under the name Soldiers Of Twilight with the singer Ladybird... He actively collaborated with established artists such as: Miguel Migs "The Night" on Naked Music, Cesaria Evora "Sodade" on BMG, Christophe Willem "Jacques A Dit" and "Quelle Chance" on Sony/BMG, Franky Boissy feat. Akram "Mama Used To Say" on Defected, DJ Kent "Falling" on Diversecity Music, KentPhonik "Hiya Kaya" on his own label Stalwart (number one on Traxsource chart for 10 weeks and nominated at The Grammy Award in Portugal)... True representative of the House Music scene, DJ RORK has been solicited to organize Miami WMC events since 2005: "Rendez-vous" parties at the legendary Delano Hotel in Miami Beach, "Week’n Dance" party at Nikki Beach Club and "House You!" parties at the Clevelander Hotel. During his carreer, he’s also worked as Music Consultant for the Principe di Savoia Palace (Milan) and Park Hyatt Vendôme Hotel (Paris). Now based in Hong Kong since 2013, as Resident DJ & Music Director at KEE Club Group, he can be counted as one of the most talented artists on the International House Music scene today. That true music lover continues to perform every week in the most prestigious night clubs of the city and all around the world.
