Eagles Postgame Week 15, 2019 vs. Washington

Dec. 15, 2019

Week 15 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 season is now in the books! The Eagles beat the Washington football team down in FedEx Field by a score of 37-27. Amazingly enough, this Eagles team and season is still alive as they continue to battle it out with the Dallas Cowboys for the top spot. The Eagles record is now 7-7 on the season.

We once again, after an up and down game, saw how clutch Carson Wentz was when he was in the moment during the fourth quarter. Wentz was 12-12 in the fourth quarter, down three points, and threw for 68 yards and two touchdown passes. With only one true wide receiver catching balls in this game aside from tight ends Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert, Wentz was under tremendous pressure to find receivers in this game. Miles Sanders continued to provide continuity and playmaking ability racking up 172 total yards from scrimmage and beating DeSean Jackson's rookie season yardage record. Sanders is a big reason this Eagles team won today. The defense was lackluster and totally underwhelming not registering one quarterback hit or sack against this Washington offense.

As always, we give our takeaways, analysis and grade each position as well as the coaches.
