Eagles Postgame Week 17, 2019 vs. Giants

Dec. 30, 2019

Week 17 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 season is now in the books! THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES ARE HEADING TO THE PLAYOFFS! Beating the New York Giants by a score of 34-17, they sealed their fate, which will propel them to a home field playoff game next week! The team finished the regular season 9-7 after being 5-7, and won the NFC East division!

We saw yet another incredible game performance by Carson Wentz as he lead the offense down the field, throwing one touchdown pass while Boston Scott rushed for three touchdowns! With a depleted receiving corps, Wentz eclipsed 4,000 passing yards on the season, breaking the franchise record, all while doing it without a wide receiver having over 500 receiving yards on the season. Meanwhile, we also witnessed a great defensive playbook by Jim Schwartz. While it wasn't a perfect day by any stretch, they created turnovers, sacked and hit Daniel Jones to create opportunities for the offense. Overall, a stellar day!

As always, we give our takeaways, analysis and grade each position as well as the coaches. It's playoff time!
