The battle is about to begin!
This week: an extended episode in which we have guests! Stefan White and Steven Fuller from Kansas City's Friends of the River join us to talk about the upcoming attempt to set the world record for the "Largest Lightsaber Battle in the World" -- complete with representatives from Guiness World Records! On May 6th, over ten thousand people will gather on the shores of the Mighty Mo, the Missouri River, to wage the largest lightsaber battle ever. Many groups have been large, but this is the first attempt to set a world record. More importantly, it's a chance to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Children's Mercy Hospital here in Kansas City (http://www.childrensmercy.org). May is also Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, and this is a chance to raise money for ongoing research to help kids live long enough to receive lung transplants so that they can live into adulthood.
