In the parable of the prodigal son, we see an example of the loving heart of a good father. Despite the hurt inflicted by his rebellious son, the father is full of compassion, generosity, and forgiveness. He accepts and embraces his son, forgiving him completely and restoratively. Like this good father, and even more so like our heavenly Father, we must be quick to love, accept, and forgive. From our Sunday service at Grace Bible Church of Bend.
