More on Karen: Karen is a passionate student of the game, and is one of the most sought after female teachers and coach of the game. Karen grew up in San Diego, California. She started playing golf at the age of 5. Karen was the Junior World Golf Champion when she was nine and ten. She is a Graduate of San Diego State University, and played on the Golf Team. Karen is a former Tour Player and presently a Class A LPGA Professional. She is also a former PGA member. Her passions in teaching took Karen to Own and operate, Nicoletti Golf Academy in South Carolina. She also owned and operated her own golf shop. Individually, Karen has been nominated for several prestigious awards. LPGA Southeast Teacher of the Year, Top 50 Female Teachers in the US by Golf for Women Magazine, US Kids Top 50 Instructors, and Best in State.
