Well, we’ve done it. We’ve reached the final episode in the double-digits, as we make the home stretch towards the big Episode 100! As per the norm for this time of the year, exciting news items are hard to come by, but that’s never stopped us before. Aside from talking about amiibo boxes, and BOXBOY amiibo, we also cover the hard-hitting topics, like McDonald’s Holiday Pies, cross-country traveling, and the best cookies in the world. Look, we may have 99 problems, but a box ain’t one.
Getting to the news round-up, we discuss the full release of Wave 3 for Skylanders, and some more evidence pointing towards the end of the game as we know it. We also talk about the relaunch of Marceline the Vampire Queen for LEGO Dimensions. We break down the functionality of the Legend of Zelda amiibo in Breath of the Wild, as well as the newly announced BOXBOY amiibo. Oh, and there might be a little soapbox moment regarding the box art for upcoming amiibo. Also, we give our continued congratulations to Beasts of Balance for so many wonderful reviews coming through about the game since launch.
From there, we read the #CommunityQuestion and awarded a listener a cool prize for having the Response of the Week. We skip the Inquire This! segment this week, sadly. And finally, we wrapped up the show with some fantastic emails, as always!
