Reviews For Spawned Parenting Podcast with Kristen and Liz of CoolMomPicks

Thank you so much for this podcast! I look forward to every episode, and often get a take-away that I put into practice (or buy)
These two are just fun to listen to! It’s light, insightful, funny, and full of helpful tips for busy, everyday moms- One of my favorite podcasts!
New to the podcast world & love that I found Cool Mom Picks!! They are funny & so related & I’m trying to catch up to the current episodes!!
The best podcast for thinking parents! With great, concise editing and few (and brief) sponsor reads, each episode is full of good ideas, funny (but not annoying) commentary, thoughtful & intelligent guests and diverse subjects.
It's great to find a parenting podcast where the parents have older kids! It's tough to find shows with parents of tweens. Just one annoyance: don't call yourself a single mom when your partner is away for the week. It makes light of what single parents have to do 365 days a year.

Love love love this podcast! Kristen and Liz are so relatable and fun. It has really awesome information no matter the age of your kids!
Love this podcast! Great hosts and I’m excited to listen. This podcast has introduced me to a lot and has give me plenty to think about
As I listened to this podcast, and having breakfast, I went through my pictures and transferred them to my Chatbooks account and I have an entire book printing and one almost full. That was crazy for me! Thank you for getting me started.
This podcast has been a damned godsend for my 50 mile commutes! Love it!
There’s rarely an episode of Spawned that I don’t think, “wow. I’m so glad I listened today.” It’s like having your friends along with you on car rides... you laugh with them, you agree with them... I find myself responding back often. Thanks for the friendly and smart thoughts, chats, and advice, Kristen and Liz.
Liz, Kristen, and their fun and knowledgeable guests are bringing the moxie to motherhood! Engaging, delightful, and hilarious are just a few words I’d use to describe the time you’ll spend with them. Thanks so much for putting out such a superb show ladies - keep up the great work!
The political bias is awful. Keep politics out of your podcast, and you’ll have a much more enjoyable show for everyone!
Spawned is my favorite podcast! Kristen and Liz as such a joy to listen to. I’ve binged and listened to all the episodes within couple months. I feel like I’m driving with my two best friends in the car. Can’t get enough. Thanks for brightening my days!

I’ll preface by saying this is a good review. I have a two year old and I just found this show about a week ago. I’m seriously addicted. I’ve already bought 3 books that they’ve suggested and have a wish list of 4 more so far. My wallet is not happy but hopefully with all the advice I will be a happier parent and my daughter will grow up to be a happy child. Thank you guys. I love spawned.
Kristen and Liz bring the funny and raw side of parenting in this podcast. It's refreshing to hear their perspectives because it's relatable AF. Plus, they share their best pics at the end of each episode which I really look forward to. This is one of my favorite parenting podcasts.
I am in love with this podcast and I'm a huge parenting podcast junkie. Kristen and Liz are super cool, real and down to earth, Every mom can relate to them. The interviews are incredibly informative and inspiring. My husband doesn't really like to discuss parenting stuff but whenever I listen to an episode I come to him and discuss what I heard and it inspires great conversations for us. We've became closer and better parents thanks to this podcast. It inspires great values in a very real modern world.
I found this podcast after I saw they were interviewing an author I liked. I so wanted to like it, since I love the hosts' websites. I listened to four episodes, but I just could not like it. If you are interested in listening to some self-righteous moms drop some very thinly veiled humble brags about how awesome they are as parents, and how unique and awesome their kids are, then this podcast is for you. I can get that at any group of moms that assemble, so listening to a podcast of it just isn't for me. The podcasts I listened to were 1/4 about the substance of the podcast topic and 3/4 overly specific info about the two hosts' families, sort of related to the topic. If I am going to listen to a parenting podcast, I'm looking for more than just the two mom hosts' personal experience and humble brags. Tiresome.
They pose really great topics to think/talk about. My daughter is a baby still but I like to hear what the current trends are
They may appear like they got it all figured out but they’re just parents like us too. Audio quality is fantastic, and they know how speak and present on the air like media personalities. The topics are time sensitive so I make sure to listen to them first.
New listener and loving this show on my 2 hours of commuting everyday! The hosts give very practical advice and have humorous stories that just make listening feel light and fun. Sometimes just feel like I’m listening to my girlfriends chatting, and wish I could talk back!

Love these two , I usually listen to them while driving my kids to and from activities and I’m often giggling at their witty convos.
So awesome Amazing tips, love the music idea I use music for Thearpy and I think this will really help my 9 year old!
Just unsubscribed when you compared Harvey Weinstein to Donald Trump. Are you kidding me? I dislike trump too but you can't honestly think he's as bad as Weinstein. I don't want to listen to this anymore.
I love listening to this podcast and enjoy Kristen and Liz so much. But I'm super-disappointed to hear them shilling for a "learning app" for preschoolers and other little kids. Yes, we all put kids in front of screens from time to time, that "makes them smarter" stuff has been thoroughly debunked.
I love Liz and Kristen's insights into parenting. Enjoying catching up on all the past episodes.
I've been listening since the beginning. Podcasts make the drive to and from anywhere more enjoyable. I love that Kristen and Liz are down to earth and sometimes snarky. Thank you!

Love this podcast.
I've been a Cool Mom Picks fan for ages, and the Spawned show absolutely meets the high standards of all their work! I loved the episode about kids and social media rules/figuring out what works for your family most of all. I actually listened to it again with my kids, and have recommended it, specifically, to lots of other 5th-8th grade families.
I can't get enough! I love listening to your podcast. Thanks for bringing a special spark to my day!
I wait all week until Liz and Kristin upload a new episode. These two woman talk about what life is like with kids and talk about new products, and what is going on in the world of parenting. They are funny and so great to listen to. I find myself laughing along with them and talking back to them (yes I get odd stares that I am talking back to my podcast 😉) I recommend this podcast to all my friends. I give it my highest recommendation!!! This is a don't miss!!!!
Been a fan since they both had their blogs. Like that it's skewed toward older kids and not babies
Great topics & guests. I especially liked the recent one about beauty products- one of my obsessions before adopting twins 3 years ago. I even bought the Delilah makeup, which I love! I also recently started playing Laurie Berkner's music to my kiddos on Spotify and subscribed to her YouTube page. The cool mom picks are awesome too. My only complaint is that the hosts will occasionally interrupt their guests when they have their own opinions or stories about the topic being discussed.
i love that kristen & liz don't take themselves to seriously and have a modern take on parenting issues that's realistic. i just wish episodes were posted more regularly!
I am a30 year old female who has never had that urge to become a mother. However, that didn't stop me from downloading and subscribing to this podcast. Though I have no kids and no plan for them in the future, children are perpetually in my life. My husband is a middle school teacher, our friends are seemingly having babies left and right these days, I am an aunt to my sibling's children, and a sounding board for my colleagues' parenting woes. I find this podcast extremely helpful in understanding the lives of those around me. It helps me to connect with my peers and their families, keeps me informed, and helps me support them. The content of this podcast is always current, and, as a psychology major, I love the complexities of navigating social issues. The hosts provide helpful, practical examples and have a clear and honest narrative. Plus, the hosts keep it fun! Recommend.
I've listened on and off since the podcast started, and I think it's only getting better. There's a good balance between funny lighthearted commentary and real discussions of important issues. When Kristen recently announced her engagement I felt genuinely happy and so excited for her, & that's when I realized these two women have really grown on me. I am always happy to see a new episode pop up in my feed. Thank you Kristin & Liz!
I have really enjoyed this podcast, but I've been disappointed in the last few months. I'm not sure why Kristen and Liz feel the need to complain about politics SO MUCH in a podcast about "parenting and parenting culture!" If I wanted to listen to your views on Trump, I would listen to a different podcast! Please, can we stick to the parenting stuff?
I'm not a parent, but this podcast is still super likeable and fun!
One of the most relatable podcasts out there. I look forward to the banter and the picks of the week. Please keep them coming.
As a parent to 2 young kids and a thirty something woman, I have appreciated many of these episodes. Funny, fun, thoughtful and informative. I just wish there were more episodes!
This podcast finds the humor in parenting.
Kristen and Liz share their life and experiences in a way that is both relatable and at times hilarious. The honesty makes this podcast a favorite. In the judgement filled world we live in, it's hard to find moms who will speak their minds and share their successes aa well as their trials. As a mom of four, I fill like I could easily pull up a chair and be at home with you ladies!
I love the expertise, humor, and support Liz and Kristen offer every episode. It's a fun and lighthearted way to consider how I am parenting, why we do what we do and why we don't... Thanks so much, ladies!
Kristen and Liz are the Jennifer Lawrence of Motherhood. Relatable and lovable. #MomGoals
Can count on these two every week for laughs, keeping me up to date with info I didn't even know I needed to be up to date with (the Target toy section episode is one I listened to a few times... You made the absurdity even more hilarious!). I love this podcast and hope to find more like it, but alas, it seems to be in its own class. Thanks for bringing such great material every week!! 👏🏼👍🏼👊🏼
I love Kristin and Liz' podcast! They are witty and smart and open minded. I am about to have my fifth kid and so anything entertaining and thought provoking when it come to parenting is a heaven send in my book. I look forward to their podcasts every week!
