Obviously this Patriots podcast also wallows and languishes amongst those of the “ B “ rated stature ! Clearly the hosts should eat their beans and leave their PORK ALONE when talking Patriots Football !
The constant coughing, door closing, throat clearing, and assorted mouth noises make this unlistenable. I don’t understand. It’s an auditory medium. Just mute when you’re not speaking. This is basic. With decent headphones on, it just sounds like these guys are walking around their house sucking hard candy into the mic and perpetually clearing their throats. Aggressively lazy, unprofessional approach.
I’ve listened to every episode and I love the rapport you two have. I actively spread the good news that is Pats Pulpit and Pats Pulpit Podcast! That said, Alec listening to you drink, chew, swallow, clear your throat, cough, etc… is just gross. I feel like I’m consuming the podcast from inside your mouth. I don’t care about a door in the background, a dog collar rattling, the occasional clanging dish. For the other stuff, please oh please get a mute button. Big Love, Switters
The content is worth a subscription but I couldn’t listen to Schofield’s nasally voice anymore. Either blow your nose or get a referral for an ENT doc and dry up those sinuses and nasal passage. It’s brutal.
You and Rich do a great job, but you gotta use that mute button when you’re not talking. Your mic is picking up the million different things you’re doing in the background.
Rich Hill should be hired by an NFL front office ASAP. His insight is top notch. Especially his draft analysis and training camp roster projections.
Scho is a very charismatic and entertaining host with some garbage opinions. Fun show but he’s wrong and I don’t like what he has to say.
Frankly all the shows could be more appreciative of Deion Branch’s legacy.
Review of 12/11/20 Patriot Nation 102. The sound quality is soooo awful, I stopped listening. Volume goes up and down & is buzzy at times. Please consider how often you move your head away from the mike when speaking and how close you get to the mike. It’s a shame, as I usually enjoy the content. But without fixing this, it’s not worth listening to this.
If you need Patriots information you need Pats Pulpit!! They do a great job of vcovering the patriots with analysis and latest news. You have to catch them.
I learned a lot on Pats picks and the hosts seemed well informed on college football. I would recommend this podcast as a decent second to Patriots Unfiltered.
Could be better both hosting and quality of sound! If you have this pod on with headphones and you’re driving you can’t hear anything! And before you say put it on the car instead, I listen while at work and there is no stereo!
I really enjoyed Pats Pulpit last year. This year, they seem to have gone missing. This year the podcast is all about Scho who is, in turn, all about how cool and smart Scho is. Boring. I miss Pats Pulpit.
Definitely my favorite Patriots pod. Love following along with the work they do on Patspulpit.com.
The rotation of shows are great and I especially enjoy The Scho Show with Mark Schofield who brings a smorgasbord of great football knowledge to the table.
Keep up the great work guys!
John
Great coverage, primarily from a Patriots perspective but without a bias. Adding the Scho Show pushed them over the edge. Great coverage all week including a weekly summary on Saturdays and a quick reaction on Sundays. The shows throughout the week are all entertaining and very informative. Having three different shows - Scho Show, Pats Nation, and Pats Pulpit podcast - brings a welcome diversity of perspectives and approaches, supplemented by great guests. Easy five star. One stop shop. Why would anyone suffer through the hours of hot take noise on the radio when you can cut straight to quality content here?
Mark is one of the best hosts in the biz - especially about QB play. I listen for his expert analysis and the breakdowns, previews, and everything in between
Great podcast after victory over Kansas City in AFC Championship. Much better analysis than the Ex-Pat podcast. You stayed on subject and didn’t fool around as happens in other shows. Well done.
Awful awful tortuous whiny annoying way over-loud guitar riff ...I always have to lower the volume when I hit play THEN turn it up because the recording quality is shoddy. Otherwise good content! Thank you Gents!!!
I love the Pats and love the pats pulpit website. This is not there best work. Limited analysis, no real insight, the most recent divisional playoff preview was a waste of time. Sounds like the staff is distracted by other things in their lives.
Hoping it gets better.
A must listen for me every week ! Laughed a lot last week at Richs take on how the bills could make the playoffs lol! Keep up the good work fellas great pod!
After reading Alec's and Rich's posts on PatsPulpit religiously for some time (Alec's "Fan Notes" and the (thankfully) occasional "Coping with Loss" posts are particular favorites, as well as the copious analysis from Rich each week, it's fun to hear them discuss the team. If you're any kind of Pats fan, I can't recommend this podcast enough. Well done, gentleman - please keep up the great work!
