Started listening to this podcast a couple years ago. The presentation and narrators are wonderful. No matter the topic, the stories told in each episode are deeply affecting, inspiring, and real, while also being artfully told.
Stumbled across this podcast and am addicted, I’m binge listening as I can’t get enough. Well researched and told in a great style that keeps you hanging on and attentive.
By chance I met MD today, the subject of your Boy Who Didn’t Die episode. I wanted to hear more about his story after he directed me here and I am very inspired by him and what he has overcome. Thankyou for documenting this. It’s so important we learn these individual stories that give us a better knowledge of the difficult and complex factors that shape our African continent.
Well done and researched. Love the combination of history and anecdotal episodes. Need more black and coloured voices and interviewees!!
Also, can you do an episode on history of EFF party?
South Africa forever!
This is a really great English language documentary style podcast from South Africa. It would be fair to compare it to This American Life with a very different perspective.
