I just stumbled upon this podcast as I was prepping for my Sunday run. Listened to "The New Grand Strategy..." and got inspired. Will listen to more of these!
Thought-provoking and important discussions on topics that are vitally important! It is great to have access to the some of the most interesting and intelligent minds in the fields of sustainability and smart growth. Also, I love that each episode gives me something I can do to make a difference in my community TODAY! Thank you, Infinite Earth Radio.
Sometimes it seems like the future for the earth is very dismal but this show shines a light of hope on ways that we can improve the trajectory of our planet's health. Keep up the good work!
As an NGO on the other side of the Atlantic, advocating for the deep renovation of residential buildings built during the Soviet era, your podcasts are more than news: they provide us with food for thought.
The transition to a "market economy" managed to destroy whatever was left of a sense of community in many a
East European city.
We need examples, inspiration, and the tools to rebuild not just homes but communities.
Your podcasts have this goal.
I enjoyed this podcast to some extent. I prefer more entertaining podcasts, but this is great for what it's intended to be, educational and helpful to those interested in development, from what I can tell.
I liked the approach of reducing food waste in the grocer supply chain. It's a practical approach that is a win-win-win for the grocery stores, the farmers, and the consumers.
Thank you infinite earth community for providing resources to help build more equitable and sustainable cities and towns. The fact that this is available for free, and that it is such a wonderful, high quality, intelligent discourse really makes me happy. From Akron with Big Love!!
This is so informative! I really appreciate how current and topical the content is. By listening I have found I can keep up in many more conversations about environmental justice, etc. I also love the list of "takeaway quotes" for each episode. This podcast is so empowering and educational!
These were great to listen to while working. It is vital to talk about social and environmental justice in the same context because of their mutual influence. Topics relate to a variety of professions and many of our core values.
The one suggestion I have is to simplify the “definition” of the podcast up at the top. The words are completely accurate but a few too many to get the point across quickly. Maybe shorten it to “Innovators building smarter, more sustainable, and equitable communities”
Will definitely keep listening and spread the word!
This podcast series does an excellent job of shedding light on pressing topics of the day related to sustainability and social justice issues. It does without being too “over the top” or pedantic, really pulling people into the discourse. I feel armed with relevant discussion points and examples to have when discussing these topics in my own circle of friends and community.
Great to think about such things. Refreshing to learn that there are people fighting the good fight, working against greed and for the good for all people, not just a lucky few. We do have the power to make changes. There is something we can do and ways we can help make a better future for our children and future generations.
The content for this podcast is compelling and well-researched. The featured interviews and speakers are credible and knowledgeable, not to mention being respected within their field. While the quality of the audio within some interviews has a little room for improvement, every word is still easily understood. This is a quality podcast with interesting and educational material for a broad range in levels of interest and knowledge in the content.
In a day and age when most federal and state political conversations are locked in partisan rancor, this podcast offers an excellent approach to defining issues, presenting facts, offering policy solutions that citizens can approach on a community level. Look forward to more episodes!
I love the themes behind this show. Mike and Vernice are professional and get right to the matter every episode. We are at a time on this earth where we all need to individually do our part to make our earth more sustainable. I hope this podcast continues to spread throughout the world because everyone needs to hear their message. Thanks for the great show guys!
I stopped paying attention to most mainstream media, as it was depressing, negative and caused me great anxiety about the future. I love Infinite Earth Radio and the way that it brings so many great concepts and ideas to light. Thank you, Mike Hancox for the great show.
I’d love to see this excellent podcast address the need for the connections between all social and environmental movements in addressing Climate Change in a concerted fashion!
Far too often, the media focuses on what is wrong with the world, especially when it comes to the environment. This podcast focuses on what is working so that others can adapt these ideas to create change in their own communities. The bonus episode on food wate was eye-opening. Learned so much!
