I’ve positively reviewed this podcast before, but the new format with Dr Roc is not for me. I feel like many times questions are asked and not answered because he gets distracted and ends up completely off topic. I definitely enjoyed the old format where it was just Dr. Laurie and guests.
Dr. Laurie, host of the Healthy Human Revolution podcast, highlights all aspects of and more in this can’t miss podcast! The host and expert guests offer insightful advice and information that is helpful to anyone that listens!
Dr. Marbas is not only an expert in her field, but she picks people to interview who are positive, knowledgeable and helpful. I always learn from her podcast, and when I was struggling with changing my habits, her interviews got me back on track.
Especially Dr. Kim ❤️. Plant based for over 4 years and Dr. Kim knew immediately I’d been misdiagnosed and that’s why I’ve had such a struggle with my blood glucose...no more!!! Feels so great to be on the road to amazing health!
If you are on plant based journey or just trying to improve your diet, this podcast is a great resource. She has amazing guests and deep knowledge of nutrition and health.
I found this wonderful doctor via a Vegan medical health platform for care during the pandemic which is awesome and then I learned about her podcasts and I'm really enjoying them she's amazing resource highly intelligent and articulate and uplifting. She has amazing guests who are also really inspiring and insightful
Thank you so much for this podcast. It’s a wonderful tool to keep me on track where my whole-food, plant-based goals are concerned. I can also easily share this with friends who are interested. This is a critical public service that you’re providing. (Is there a chance that you could make your titles searchable? That is, after entering your podcast, someone may like to search for, e.g., diabetes, sleep, anxiety, etc.)
I absolutely love this podcast. Dr. Laurie Marbas is a wonderful host. An advocate of lifestyle medicine to reduce risk of chronic disease, she brings on an interesting array of guests: doctors, researchers, dieticians, fitness trainers, chefs, health and life coaches and individuals who have made transitions to a plant-based lifestyle and experienced tremendous benefits. There is so much to learn and gain from in each podcast episode.
What's fun too is that Dr. Marbas shares tidbits about her own life and family and she has this most delightful laugh; both these elements make a listener feel like they know her, she's like that friendly neighbor down the street.
I'd urge anyone interested in learning why eating a diet of more healthy plant foods can have such an incredible and significant effect on your present and future health to listen in to this informative show. You will learn so much that you will likely want to spread this knowledge with others in order to help people you care about live a long and healthy life.
Whether you’re already deep into your journey of authentic health and wellness, or just getting started organizing your plant-based lifestyle - this is a must-listen podcast for you! Dr. Laurie and the entire HHR team do an incredible job leading conversations that cover the entire range of mental, emotional, spiritual and physical challenges we all face learning to navigate the transition to plant-based living (while rebuilding your health and vitality in the process!). Highly recommend listening and subscribing!
I love the content of this podcast but is it just me or are there so many where you can’t hear one or the other speaker? So many episodes I was super excited to listen to but can’t because you can only hear one person talking. Doesn’t anyone listen to these before photos they are posted? I really want to hear this content but it’s so frustrating.
My first podcast I listened to was Jim Balla. Dr. Laurie is a precious hard working doctor who has changed her life and now inspires us to change ours. She interviews a wide range of experts and victors in the plant based world. Her faith is a plus. Thank you Dr. Laurie.
Thank you for doing this podcast! As a nurse we see all of this in action and I try to share your podcasts with people around me! Wish all the healthcare providers were as committed and knowledgeable as you to actually help others!
Our healthcare "system" does not do enough to promote wellness. Physicians like Dr. Marbas are empowering patients to take control of our health through lifestyle. Her caring, down-to-earth approach makes me wish everybody with chronic disease could see a doctor like her.
Thank you for inspiring me to be a better provider. I am a Nurse Practitioner and new to the Plant-based community 1 year 7 months. Everyday I get inspired by listening to your podcasts and that of other doctors who are trying to change the trajectory of Americas health. I hope that I can follow in your footsteps. I live in a primarily Hispanic community where diabetes and obesity are the norm. I honestly am tired of not being able to make patients better. With Plant-based foods I have been able to make more improvements in peoples health than with medications even insulin. Keep those podcasts coming, I am learning so much and I don’t want to stop. Thank you for being at the forefront in fighting against all these chronic diseases that are plaguing america.

How to health podcast is one of my favorite podcast to listen to! She has a very easy way about her and can relate to her Guests and really puts them at ease when she’s talking to them! Her own personal story of transitioning to a whole food plant-based diet and how passionate he she is about getting other healthcare professionals on board is infectious!!
I forgot how I came across dr Laurie’s podcast. After listening one episode, I was very impressed. She is very passionate on WFPB. She interviewed a wide range of people including Drs and patients. She also brings in positive psychology which is very interesting. I highly recommend this podcast!
I first spoke with Dr Marbas on Dec. 5 2017 through Dr. on Demand for a sinus infection. Never did I realize after speaking with her that my life will change forever. She has given me the tool that has giving me hope that I still have a chance to change and live a healthier and cleaner life with a plant based diet. After I got off the phone with her I went straight to her Podcast and have already learned so much. Thank you Dr Marbas for giving me the hope that I so needed.
This podcast is really great. Dr Marbas is a skillful, educated and entertaining host, who interviews the titans of the plant-based field, asking all the questions that a curious progressive educated professional would want to know the answers to. That covers the new science, research, psychology, balanced with more personable questions that allow for guests to tell their personal story, share advice, recepies, reasons and details of transformation, and personal experience. I know Dr. Marbas's co-host - Katie Reines - personally. Katie is an RD, who is full of energy, light and passion and is completely dedicated to bringing her absolute best knowledge, experience, knowledge and creativity to help other find their way to healing.
Definitely worth a listen. Give it a try!
Love Dr. Laurie Marbas's podcasts. She has a real desire to see people get well from chronic conditions, and even prevention of things like heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes through a plant-based, whole foods way of eating. Worth your time to listen to these podcasts.
I am excited that Dr. Marbas decided to do a podcast. We can easily relate to Dr. Marbas who has not been plant based her entire life. She was open to learning which is unfortunately sometimes lacking in the medical profession. Once she realized the benefits of proper nutrition for the prevention/reversal of disease and overall good health she began taking that message to as many people as possible. She has ridiculous amounts of energy and is passionate about her patients and promoting healthy diet and lifestyle practices. She cares. She is a joy to listen to. Keep it up Dr. Marbas.
