Gus, for the love of all things holy, please change the the EQ or get something to control the Sss in your mix. Mike sounds fine but Gus sounds like he’s doing the podcasts in a bathtub with every word that has an “s” cutting the top of my head off. Seriously love you guys but get an “s” filter. Take care!

I’ve listened to several editions of Screen the Screener and it amazes me how these two are on top of the College basketball landscape, and at the same time finding a way to entertain.
Gave these guys a listen...terrible. If you don’t agree with them, they label you a “non-athlete.” What a hot take. What a convincing argument. They also like to remind you they’re former D1 athletes. Well, as a former college coach, I find them to have less than convincing arguments and takes that can be described not as hot but lukewarm. Ridiculous criticisms and evaluations of the games they’re covering. Wasted 10 minutes of my life listening to them.

Update Apr 2019 - still elite. Over the last year or two, I’ve subscribed to several CBB podcasts, and the hosts here offer intel on not just the powerhouses but all other teams including mid majors and off the radar P7 games. They don’t get carried away on long tangents and successfully bounce from game to game offering keen insights on results and upcoming matchups. Not a lot of fluff so if you’re in the market for straight info - have a listen! Good work fellas!
These guys are incredible. Deep-dives into teams, coaches, matchups, players, schedules, and literally everything else college basketball. They touch on everything: recaps, previews, and everything in-between that the casual fan can't catch up on. Highly recommend this podcast. So glad I stumbled upon it.

Was listening for March Madness prep and one of the guys said PJ Washington was better than Zion Williamson. Promptly I left a bad rating and went elsewhere.
These guys get absolutely giddy about March Madness and have tons of info and relevant commentary. While I disagree with some of their picks, that doesn’t stop me from listening or gaining some insight on the big dance. I’ve been listening to them now for 3 years starting on Selection Sunday and have never been disappointed.
Hilarious Podcast. Try to make clickbaiting claim all season... Like Nevada is Final Four lock, PJ Washington is better pro than Zion Williamson...I don't even know whether they indeed watch game before they said something like that...And it is rare that both of broadcasters agree with that...If you wanna get laugh, good choice...Not many meat basketball analysis.
I didn’t listen to this podcast very often but had some down time today and decided I would tune in. One of the first things I hear is host breaking down his Bracketology Update and says he has Washington making the final four. Won’t listen again. LOL
Great college hoops insight! They cover a lot without dwelling too long on a particular game or subject. Sharp, educational, well produced and entertaining. Their passion for the game really comes through. Keep up the great work guys!
I’m a huge college basketball junkie and I love listening to Mike and Gus talk college hoops. Not only are they fun to listen to, but the level of analysis is very high. A must listen for any college basketball fan!
I enjoy listening what they have to say about different teams and matchups. With March Madness in full swing, they provide great listening material to understand the ins and outs of the tournament.
Gus and mike somehow manage to watch every moment of every game. They know the ins and outs of every team, coach and player. Not since Hermione Granger had her time turner has someone crammed so much content into their lives. From big ten to big sky, these guys have got you covered!
It is very hard to find a couple of guys who provided un biased an in depth non politically correct talk on hoops, believe me I've tried. I'm so glad to have found you guys and am glad to get so much info and in depth analysis on teams I may not watch out of my conference. Looking forward to when UConn is relevant again for you guys to review them. Good luck in the tournament! #GoUConn

Great breakdown across the country. Great breakdown of the mid majors and non blue bloods. The effort and time they put into to their breakdowns does not go unnoticed. I would vote the best CBB pod for the diehard fans of the sport, edging out Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander. Long live the B1G Ten and #BoilerUp...
Before Screen the Screener I was lost. Going through podcast after podcast none really had what I was looking for. However, once I stumbled upon STS it was like a blind man seeing for the first time. The episodes run like a symphony through my ears and fill my brain with all the knowledge I will need to complete the perfect bracket. When I listened to their mid major episode for the first time real tears flowed to my eyes. Never had I experienced something so beautiful. No one and I mean no one comes even close to being as knowledgeable as these guys are in regards to mid major programs. However, the best part of this podcast is how much they love College Basketball. They talk with energy and excitement that could make even the encyclopedia entertaining. If you haven't checked them out than what are you doing. Keep up the good work guys!
