Hard Times & Weirdness

Reviews For Hard Times & Weirdness

Lots of positive words.
Great folks, talented musicians, wonderful story-tellers. My favorite podcast.
Your best podcast yet!! Always look forward to them. Love the history lesson with Don!! Rock on guys!
All about a van full of musicians with loads of talent and great songs, oh yeah, and a dream, too. Always a fun listen. (PS sound on episode 52 is A-OK)
Stuff
Being a local Indiana fan, it’s cool to hear the gang share the stories from the road! I recall when MySpace was a thing and the band used to take loads of pictures pre Instagram, these days we get regular updates but these stories are golden. Here’s to a lot more to come! Let’s get a sponsor for the show and make it profitable enough to do weekly!
Rev, Breezy, and the gang always tell unbelievable stories from touring all over the world.
Max, Breezy, and The Rev make for totally compelling listening!
Rev, Breezy and Max make great music, but they’re also great storytellers and make good observations about life in general. I never miss an episode.
Love this podcast!
Really enjoy listening to the adventures of this group.
Love hearing tales from the road, the guest interviews and stories behind the songs!! Tell us about the song "Your Cousins on Cops"...
Love the podcast. Great stories and love the length of the shows.
Rev Peyton is the real deal...
I've never left a podcast review, but after listening I had to come and let everyone know about this gem. I had recently watched some of Reverend Peyton's YouTube videos and became aware of this podcast. Over the past few months I've binge listened to the podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great no holds barred stories of life as musicians, and of life in general. This is a genuine look into who these guys are and the struggles of living their dream. Definitely worth a listen and a great group to support. Their music is awesome and knowing the people who are making it just adds to the enjoyment of their art. Thanks for making the podcast guys and keep up the great work.
I love this podcast. Those guys are funny and cool.
Their stories are truly amazing and interesting. One of the more interesting bands around today!
Great stories of life on the road. Breezy is hilarious. Good stuff, keep it up.
I didn't know this podcast existed until a few months ago. Since then I have marathoned through all of them. Every episode is a gem! I love learning more about where the band comes from and what drives them. I would love to hear more episodes with guests from bands they tour with. I have learned about some great artists in this podcast.
Stories from the road that you cannot believe and in most cases should have been made into movies. They have been everywhere, have toured with some of the greatest bands of our generation and yet they never forgot their roots of their front porch in Indiana. If you like Music, Big O and Dukes or just legendary story tellers who leave you on the edge of your seats, SUBSCRIBE NOW!!!! P.S. He played a shotgun guitar!!!
My wife and I both are big fans of the band, we catch them in clarksdale at juke joint all the time, we watch the shows, we talk to the band after the show at the merch table but these podcasts are like sitting around the dinner table listening to family stories. We have found the band to be such down home folks and have made us so much more of a fan, without these podcasts we would not have known the personal side of the band as much as we do now, never stop the podcasts!!! @langdon36
One of the best music industry podcasts around.
Just Found the podcast! I'm doing the binge listen and loving it! My oldest son turned me on to you guys gee maybe 10 years ago? You opened for flogging Molly in Worcester Ma and I've been a fan since! Loved pod1 in Italy as a 18yr old in the navy and your so right about the food and the hours of business there! Love the pod look forward to hearing more!
Fantastic podcast with weirdness! I could listen to them talk for hours and hours!
Thanks to Big O and Dukes podcast introducing them. They are great band!
Down to earth people talking music, can't ask for much more.

I can't tell if these two think they are a real band or not. What a joke, the one big girl can't play a real instrument so she acts like she's a real musician by using a washboard, the dude looks like he's been in the Cracker Barrel one too many times! No wonder nobody has ever heard of this "band" Good Luck
I was introduced to the Rev & Breezy by listening to BOAD. They are wonderful people who have a unique talent not just as musicians, but as story tellers. Looking forward to years of podcast gold from this group!
Who would of thought that a great band would have some great stories. Please keep them coming!
The band's music is fantastic and this podcast is a great companion to their albums and live shows. Their stories are funny and well told and you can tell that these really are the good people you think they would be. Great stories of their life on the road and making music. Add this to your subscription list now! Then go buy their albums. Then see a live show. You won't regret it!
Great show, amazing stories from amazing people. Funny as hell!
Forget VH1's "Storytellers", the Rev & Breezy have road stories like you wouldn't believe.
Anyone who has a favorite band (pretty much everyone) should listen to this podcast. It's a cool window into how crazy it can get living on the road. Love the Rev and Breezy!

Rev for life
The only thing The Rev and his band do better than storytelling is playing music. Do your earballs a favor and listen.
