I think the format of the show is brilliant, the interstitial music and sections like 4’33”.
The opinion of the hosts are refreshing, other podcasters like at IGN all start to sound the same. While these hosts come from a different point of view and bring a fresh and humorous perspective.
Takes a bit to get passed the scripted format but fun and enjoyable. Hosts put tons of effort and energy into each episode. Podcast did lose credibility with the Mario Greatest Hits episode with the Mario64 mistreatment.
Love
Love love the Podcast. As a new Switch owner getting back into video games it’s nice to have a normal casual podcast to listen to as well as get caught up on all that I missed. My favorite part is when they talk about what they’re playing
I love ur show and the only thing that could make it better would be if u did a 3ds month
i love to listen to ur show while I play ocarina of time so keep up the great work
Mark and Patrick are great hosts of one of my favorite podcasts. I never miss an episode. They upload 2 episodes every week with the Tuesday epsisode being a news episode and the Thursday episode being a Nintendo Variety episode. They are very informed and entertaining. I have listened to this Podcast for several years and I dont know if they ever failed to upload an episode. I give them my highest recomendation. Jay88fitness
I love this show so much. It is a perfect balance of legitimate and straightforward following of Nintendo news and events, with episodes mixed in of lighthearted rankings/listicles, funny would-you-rathers, and whimsical debates, all of which are done in good fun with what you can tell is a sincere and warm hearted devotion to a great company and a great legacy of games.
The guys have great commentary on all things Nintendo. It’s always refreshing to get perspective from people outside of ign or game informer. You can tell they enjoy doing the podcast and have fun with. I definitely listen when every episode gets posted.
As a queer individual, the concept of listening to two men talk about video games initially made me pretty wary, however the boys are so charming and keep their coverage and commentary really approachable and light, which is really refreshing. Hearing about the topics I’m interested in from other queer people is so nice! :)
Hey this is Moneycutt and this podcast is amazing I listen to new episodes minutes upon their release and just love the environment! Patrick and Mark are amazing people with a stellar podcast keep up the good work! I found out about this podcast at the begging of summer through Video Games: A Comedy Show and have listened weekly ever since. Thank you both so much for this podcast!
Something I always look for in podcasts is hosts who have great chemistry and this is by far one of the best I’ve found. They both easily play off the other and it’s always fun to listen to them banter in the off topic sections. And of course I also love all the Nintendo takes and news. It’s a great show for any fan of the company and good podcasting!
A delightful combo of news, discussion, and goofing. The guys are so enthusiastic and engaging, I love listening to them. I’m a relatively new listener but I’m hooked!
Apple Podcasts apparently blinked my original review out of existence, so let’s just say it’s a good podcast hosted by two nice boys who love their Nintendo?
Always a great discussion, along with Nintendo news. Ever wonder which Mario Odyssey costume is the best? Or who is the best Legend of Zelda NPC? Me neither, until Patrick and Mark brought it up!
Keep up the great work! Hoping for a shoutout..

Hard to find a decent Nintendo podcast due to common host issues, but these guys seem fine. Not too political like ign, or abrasively unfunny like rfn. Just stay averagely nerdy for two middle-aged guys doing a Nintendo podcast, and you’ll keep me subscribed.
This is a very entertaining and funny show, and it’s fun to listen to the hosts banter about whatever shenaniganary is going on in the world of Nintendo. Also u guys should talk about fnaf every game except security breach is on switch just saying ;)
This Show is super great! I’m always excited to listen to Mark and Patrick talk about Nintendo. It makes my day(every Tuesday and Thursday). Thanks for making quality content in this time of trials for us all.
I love this podcast! I listen to it all the time! I have a comment on your snes episode. You said that the snes controller was the best of all time, but I think that spot is held by the GameCube controller. It fits In Your hands so well, and the buttons are arranged perfectly. Let me know what you guys think! Keep making episodes!
Imagine listening to your childhood best friend and a guy you briefly met once but absolutely know you’d be great friends with if you lived in the same state talk about your favorite hobby twice a week. I’m not sure how they pull it off, but somehow that’s what this show feels like. I cannot recommend enough!
I was looking for a podcast that kept up with Nintendo news the same way that RelayFM’s Connected keeps up with Apple news, and this delivers! It’s the perfect balance of news, speculation and sharing game nostalgia that any Nintendo fan can feel a part of. The production quality is very nice as well, with catchy opening and closing songs.
Mark and Patrick’s show offers an entertaining, thoughtful, and often really funny discussion about not only most current first-party Nintendo games, but also the most random, super-specific takes on Nintendo IP, like casting Nintendo characters as famous detectives. Every episode is a great time, and even if you grow tired of listening to Nintendo content, you won’t grow tired of Mark and Patrick; they’re both just the most likable and endearing podcast hosts around.
I would like to start off by expressing my appreciation for you guys! I appreciate all the hard work you do and all the entertainment you provide for all of us listeners. Your podcast is part of my daily routine as I’m getting ready and driving to work, walking my route delivering the mail, and rinsing off the dirt just before bed. I honestly can’t get enough of it!! It’s definitely helped me personally through these difficult times we’re in and has kept my mind clear and clutter free.
I grew up with Nintendo and it’s not just something I do or play, it’s who I am. Your podcast hits home when it comes to my daily dose of good ol’ NCS!! Keep it up guys!!
Stay Creative!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽

I have started listening to this show since it's start and can honestly say that this is in the top 3 of my rotation of podcasts and only rotates because there are 2 episodes a week, not 7. Patrick and Mark involve their listenings and are very good at replying to correspondence and engaging in discussion from listener questions on mike.
I was a subscriber for about a year, until today (Oct 1, 2020). In this episode the guys felt they had to get their Politics out there like never before by actually asking listeners to vote for Biden. Unacceptable. Unsubscribed. You didn’t need to do this guys, and you may not care that you did. Bye.
Tuesday’s and Thursday’s have gotten so much better thanks to Patrick & Marks discussions. Nintendo is my absolute favorite company and listening to these to talk about it makes it feel like I’m right there in the room with them! Some of my favorites are the unique Thursday episodes where they create a topic of discussion like casting animal crossing characters to Musicals, or ranking the Zelda franchise. Thank you guys for all your hard work, you have a lifelong fan!!!
This is what streaming devices were made for. All of human kind’s inventions culminated in this very moment to give us this.
It’s simultaneously interesting for deep divers, and approachable for new Nintendo fans, and entertaining the entire time, and really, what else could you want?
In addition to having the best Nintendo podcast name in the galaxy, this two-person podcast is a joy to listen to with the hosts playing off each other in a friendly and enjoyable manner. I often giggle while listening to the show on the drive to work and enjoy the breakdown of upcoming games and news.
Been listening to this podcast for the last couple of years. Thoroughly enjoy the content and the presentation from you guys! I look forward to these every week. Keep up the great work!
This is my favorite biweekly podcast that always keeps me up to date on Nintendo news during my busy college schedule. Always definitive, always entertaining, always waiting to borrow a copy of sonic forces!
Really enjoyable podcast. I struggle with video game podcasts because they're so often filled with in-jokes and a bunch of people who seem more interested in hanging out together than putting out a concise show. The news episodes of Nintendo Cartridge Society cover all of the relavant Nintendo news of the week, and while there are jokes and commentary to keep things interesting, it's a very concise show that's easy to follow.
