The 40k Badcast

Reviews For The 40k Badcast

I wanted them to talk more about Cormac McCarthy i wish i could rate this lower man

5/5

Five stars. Recommend. This podcast is Nature’s raisin.
Great show. Recommend listening to it. Better audio quality than other shows about the hobby.
Left leaning, I’m sure a majority of this audience doesn’t notice. Probably cheers these two on when they’re ranting about the country they live in and despise. Not sure why they inject so much modern day politics into their hobby. Unfollowed.
The irony in the 40K Badcast’s name grows stronger with every episode. Scrambled attention spans are over-compensated by side-splitting gags as this comedy land-train has no breaks as it takes you through the side-games of Warhammer and, occasionally, Warhammer 40,000 or Age of Sigmar. The ultimate beer and pretzels podcast for beer and pretzels gaming. A don’t-knock-it-till-you-try it hobby treat.
They are entertaining and actually respond to their listeners. That’s pretty refreshing. P.S. my husband told to give you a great review cuz he’s a big fan. Please make a shout out to Tyler B.
Great pod, always fun and full of love for the hobby in all it’s various forms. Keep up the good work.
Come for the Stupid Lasagna, stay for the Jolt Cola references

Good. Needs more soundboard shenanigans.
One of the best Warhammer 40k and Anime related podcasts out there. Highly recommend listening to these two chill dudes.
Campbell McLaughlin is truly a master of the art of entertainment! His show, the 40k Badcast, is, bar none, the epitome of unparalleled delight and transcendent talent! His quick wit, disarming charm, incomparable intellect, and unsurpassed mastery of enrapturing speech, make the Campbell’s show a life changing experience. Whether it’s uproarious, intelligent humor, deep philosophical contemplation, the hight of intellectual engagement, or simply the desire to listen to a true virtuoso of word-craft, you have found it here! Start from the first episode and slowly bask in all the vast glory that is Campbell McLaughlin in his perfection! Oh, do I envy you first time listeners, for you are about to embark on an almost out-of-body journey through the exquisite mind and superlative heart of a true luminary! Campbell will have you choking back tears, cackling with delight, beaming with joy, and overwhelmed with compassion. Be a little afraid as well. . . but only because the depths of your soul will be laid bare by his words. He will make you come face to face with your true self, but have faith that with Campbell as your guide, you are never lost, and he’ll remake you closer to the person you only wish you were. Dan is fine too.
This show is awesome. Dan and Campbell have a great chemistry and work off each other in a hilarious fashion. I love listening to these guys as I paint, drive, or whenever I get a chance. When I discovered the podcast, I binge-listened for weeks, catching up with past shows. It's informative, entertaining, and keeps your attention. The only negative comment I have is that occasionally Dan can bring personal political views into the show. And while everyone is entitled to their opinion, there's no place for that in the 41st millenium. Lol. But aside from the occasional liberal rant, this show is a perfect listen for anyone that's a fan of the Warhammer 40K universe of games. Love these guys!
My only must listen podcast.
40k podcast. The hosts have a chemistry like Carson and McMan. Super fun to listen too and the fact or fan fiction is so funny you might wet yourself laughing. Great voice acting. Love it!
You should listen, and also read Goonhammer. Both are very nice sources for spicy 40k news, commentary, and hot, hot fan-fiction
These guys are the most enthusiastic 40k podcasters I've ever heard. Really great and entertaining. Only issue is their language, not for kids.

Not impressed.
Mr. Boyd and Mr. McLaughlin: What you've recorded are some of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent diatribes were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the Imperium is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you five stars, and may I have mercy on your souls.
Do you like Warhammer 40,000? Do you like humor? Do you like when people are legitimately honest about their opinions? Do you like edge highlighting? Do you like chocolate? Me too. Reese’s eggs are my favorite, and my fiancée has some in the fridge and I’m getting real tired of them not being eaten by me. Don’t be like me. 9 out of 10 dentists recommend Colgate, but 100% of me recommends the badcast. Great quality, great topics, great bird knowledge. What’s not to love?
I really enjoy this show. The hosts are funny, and they seem to have a wonderful time while recording. The fact or fan fiction segment always makes my day. Definitely listen to this show if you are looking for a funny look into the Warhammer 40k hobby!
I’m one of the people who heard of this Pod through the IC’s. Thoroughly enjoyed........... Is it sad that I knew the Gloryhammer lyrics?
Easily the funniest and most light hearted 40k podcast on the internet. The production quality is top notch and the hosts keep the show content fresh and original.
Great podcast. There are a lot of 40K podcasts out there that go deep into the tournament scene and codex reviews like cowards, but the 40K Badcast is a nice refresher that offers hobby content as well as fun segments like "We make da call" and "fact or 40k fan fiction". If you wanna listen to two hilarious friends talk about the hobby and ask the questions other podcasts are too afraid to ask like " Who is the sexiest man in the 41st millennium?", well brother this is the podcast for you.
These boys may not know much but they know 40k and how to bring it to the people. it's a great show. Come for the 40k, stay for the fanfic.
for all of us bad at 40k.
This show is so funny, I have to listen every week. Jake - Back to the Warp podcast
This badcast is exactly what you need to get into the hobby.
The best voxcast on all of Holy Terra and Segmentum Solar.
Funny guys with good charisma. Really glad to see them tackling the harder issues that have been cropping up in our hobby lately.
Owned by logic or something
As a quote listener unquote to this quote podcast unquote since the beginning, the only quote formal criticism unquote I have to offer is that these guys are quote too funny for their own good unquote.
Campbell and Dan are two funny guys with great chemistry and the podcast they produce is my favorite in any genre. They do a great job of emphasizing the absurd and comedic aspects of what is, if I am to be entirely honest, a somewhat silly hobby while at the same time being able to discuss real issues affecting our community. I hope at some point to be able to buy these guys a beer for all the joy and laughter they’ve given me.
My favorite Juggalo-hosted podcast. The two hosts are more down with the clown than anyone else out there. MMFCL!
Great sound quality and the two hosts obviously have good chemistry. Right out of the starting gate this is a fun show to listen to. One of the few 40k Podcasts I follow these days. I wanted to update my review even further. This show has continued to grow and become better and better as it gets settled. The hosts are opinionated, funny, and solidly grounded. Some great hobby discussion and enjoyable to listen to. Do not miss it.
I’m surprised anyone brought it up since most podcasts I listen to are friends with Reece. Good on you for your segment and know that you guys aren’t the only people who feel the same way you do.
The first few episodes of this are deceptively fun. Newer episodes are basically long rants about how the hobby isn’t politically correct enough.
...40k Podcasts that doesnt make me cringe. They are genuinely funny guys who actually know how to have conversations.
Love the show guys, lots of laughs and good times.
Was looking for more 40k podcast, stumbled upon greatness.
These two furries with faces for radio and voices for newspaper spend an hour making you feel better about yourself in comparison to how terrible they are. 5/5 puckered space holes.
Like the most insidious of heretics they lulled me into a sense of false security with their amiable banter and fantastic hobby discussion. Then they led my unwitting gaze right into the gaping maw of Fulgrim’s hole and in that dank abyssal chasm I saw the Eye of Terror.
Stump is one of my favorite games, therefore this podcast gets five stars.
"There is no time to be lost! Battle-brothers! Space Marines, today, the enemy is at our door! We know our duty and we will do it! We fight for our honor, as Blood Ravens, as Space Marines, and we fight in the name of the Emperor! If we die this day, we die in glory. We die heroes' deaths! But we shall not die, no, it is the enemy who will taste death and defeat! As You Know, most of our battle-brothers are stationed in space, prepared to deep strike! Our perimeter has been prepared in the event that our enemy should be so bold and so foolish! We have placed numerous beacons, allowing for multiple, simultaneous and devastating defensive deep strikes. The Codex Astartes names this maneuver "Steel Rain". We will descend upon the foe, we will overwhelm them, we will leave none alive! Meanwhile, our ground forces will ensure the full defense of our headquarters... We are the Space Marines! We are the Emperor's fury!"
T good with compu
I happily cram this in my ear holes every week.

I made the mistake of listening to this podcast and now all the money has flown out of my bank account and into my local Games Workshop. My poor son has been juiceless for days.
