REWORK

Reviews For REWORK

This podcast shares breakthrough ways to approach common business and workplace pain points.
Very fun, down to earth, informative discussion. It feels like we are sitting at a wine bar talking about these topics.
Thanks for all the memories, too bad leadership exploited and exploded the company. Bosses at BaseCamp hate their employees, good luck to everyone else but them.
I love the wide variety of topics covered on this podcast. This is a fun podcast to listen to with so many actionable takeaways. Great guidance with high quality content.
Love the show and the variety of topics covered. You can tell this company really has great values and actually care about people and not just blindly following industry trends. The hosts are very fun to listen to and the interviews are always very interesting. I’m always waiting for the next episode. I love the rework podcast! Also, I’m a huge fan of Basecamp. Love the tool. I use it at work and I’m also a paying customer separately for my side projects.
Often they discuss privacy and the company has a very realistic and humanistic approach.
I just listened to Meet Andy and In the Market for a Marketer back to back. The latter podcast describes a fairly lengthy and seemingly objective hiring process involving 1,400 resumes, while the former confesses that the hiring relationship had been ongoing for years. Odd to send those conflicting signals in back to back podcasts.
The hosts are so great!
I feel completely at home here - bowled over by brilliant advice and nourishing conversations. Getting to peer into the world of Basecamp and the mind of their world-class guests has provided me so much benefit when it comes to executing on what matters most. Can’t recommend listening (and subscribing) to Rework enough! 🙌
Love the podcast - both the content, and the vibe. Rework is now on my regular rotation! I’ve been a Basecamp fan for a while, but seriously - listening to this podcast prompted me to sign up for career alerts on the website. You guys just seem so smart, chill, and humble, and the company ethos is inspiring. I appreciate how openly you share, and that the podcast seems dedicated to making work better, in every sense of the word. (Related to the above, I’m about to submit my application for the Head of Marketing position. Put in a good word for me? ;) My name is Liz.)
Love the podcast. It’s easy to listen to, incredibly educational, and thought provoking. Thanks for putting “groundbreaking” ideas out there. (I used quotes because I think so many of these ideas shouldn’t be groundbreaking, they should be commonplace!) One small piece of feedback (sorry if this isn’t the right forum), y’all should be sure to add some kind of closing music or something to every episode, including mini/bonus episodes. I was just listening to a few in a row and found myself very confused when my mini episode ended and a new voice appeared out of nowhere.
Shaun, Wailin and the Basecamp family, along with their extremely knowledgeable guests cover anything and everything that will help you build your business, but it’s so much more than that! You’ll get tons of actionable advice and tangible tips, but you’ll also get heaps of inspiration from truly engaging individuals that have been where you are and want to see you succeed. Thanks so much for putting out such a spectacular show Basecamp - keep up the great work!

One of a small number of podcasts I will listen to immediately when a new episode releases, skipping over others that have been in my feed longer. Quality content, high production values, and interesting guests. As a small business owner I regularly derive value.
Some gems thus far in the podcast’s short history. Loved learning more about Dr. Bronners and the show about legitimate work/life balance was a friendly reminder that some American entities do prioritize balance in the lives of their workers.
Really apprecaite this podcast and the overarching message coming from Basecamp. They've done a great job distilling principles from the book into podcast episodes. Really enjoy hearing from other businesses and occasionally from dhh and jason! Defniitely my favorite business / entrepenuership podcast.
The Rework podcast, like the book, is full of great insights and straight talk from people who are actually DOING what they are talking about. This isn’t just somebody telling you something they read in a book, or that they just think might be a good idea. This is real, practical, and entertaining! Feel like the world needs more people with “common sense” and less sensationalism? You’ll enjoy this podcast!
I love everything these guys do and how they make you think differently about business.
I guess I was looking for more similarity with the book. The stories really don’t relate to me, my business or anything I was psyched for when I bought and read all of Jason’s books. Just seems like a weak attempt to piggy back off a great book. Maybe more Jason???
I never thought I'd give a hoot about a business podcast, but here I am, leaving a review for one. Pretty darn insightful show. Keep up the good work you two. *Shaun sounds quite dreamy btw*
I love Rework the book. I love Remote the book. I love Signal v. Noice the blog. Rework the Podcast? Ehh... I get that it is basing each episode off a principle from the Rework book. I also like the hosts. However, their examples are hit or miss. Sometimes the examples are spot on and very relevent. And then... they go HARD LEFT and try to pimp out a Progressive Agenda straight out of NPR/MSNBC/HuffPo! No! No! No! Rework is a great book because it does not go Left or Right. Just works and doesn't work. Say away from Politics and stick to the waterfalls that you're use too! Please!
Was very excited to see that the writers of ReWork and Remote had just recently started podcasting. Already getting into great stuff and only 1 episode in.
Love this pod!
Good to meet you, Wailin and Shaun!
Even though I've been a basecamp fan for a long time I'm just now starting to listen to this podcast because it's new. I didn't want to jump into the middle of an old show not really knowing much about it, but this I will do.
The Basecamp crew seem to understand what makes a compelling product (as well as a compelling read or listen). It's been years since I read REWORK, and the podcast is a continuation of the book, talks, and other things the crew has done. But it's not the same old thing. From the start, they understand what makes a compelling podcast as well. It's worth it for the "Workaholics Aren't Heroes" episode alone, but I suspect many more great episodes are on the way.
Reliably deliver. Great counterintuitive business thought.
Good start. Look forward to more.
C'mon. Seriously. Podcasts don't get better than this.
I've loved just about everything that Basecamp/37 Signals has put out. When I heard about this podcast I was pretty excited, but they far exceeded my expectations. The concepts shared are important and relevant. It's applicable to just about everyone and I enjoyed their interview of people outside of the industry. If you were a fan of Rework, are at a professional crossroads, or an entrepreneur- this is a podcast for you. It's short enough to consume quickly with enough thought provoking information to stick with you.
Pretty much like everything Jason and his team does. The new podcast is no exception. Good stuff.
Such a welcome and meaningful part of my reading and listening time. I look forward to more.
Great flow and sound business advice that doesn't try to be glamorous
Good format and a great podcast.
Big congrats to the 37 Signals team. This new podcast has some great insight on easy to implement ideas. These guys have a track record of great work and this looks like a peek into that process. Well done!!!
It's great to see Basecamp get into podcasting! I look forwad to hearing more - great stuff.
