I've listened to a number of the sermon podcasts now and I find them entertaining and biblically-based. Pastor Noble seems to have a very good grasp of the Bible, preaches from the Bible, and is interesting to listen to. If it weren't for the following negative aspects, I would have given him 5 stars. However, there are several negatives that can't be overlooked. First, he makes fun of people who disagree with and other denominations. It is not subtle or mature. He makes them sound like hillbilly’s and literally calls them names. He is very legalistic. Listen to the podcasts about New Springs Church – no children in the service, staff driven, etc. Third, he is crude. He uses crude language and descriptions. One example that immediately comes to mind is his criticisms of young men that live five to house, play video games all day, and “whack off. Yes, I said it, whack off.” Fourth, every third or fourth podcast is about giving money. I agree that this is a very important subject that every pastor needs to speak about, but this is excessive. Pastor Noble prefaces these sermons with remarks about how the church is going great financially and how giving has increased, but he is nonetheless going to speak about it yet again. Recently, his whole sermon on giving your heart to Jesus was all about giving your money to his church.
