Reviews For Unmasking A Killer

Especially the Jennifer Armour and Donna Richmond case.. just awful
Is Donnie not wealthy enough that he needs to drop his resume 😂 other than that it’s an old story told MANY times over. The biggest issue is it’s produced/originated by CNN and they have proved to be fungible with facts. So entertainment value only. Or another paycheck for Donnie.
Love the hosts, their questions were thoughtful and their responses to the fact finding was enthusiastic. Love the mix of conversation and the presentation of the entire series of events. Cannot wait to listen to their next effort. Great job.
You can tell the hosts put a ton of time in finding interesting content. Great job in landing great interviews. I definitely recommend!
I was new to this pod until this weekend and the first review I read was complaining about Joke’s manner of speech. I have now listened to many hours of the pod and I am very impressed with her intelligence, knowledge of the subjects in detail, and ability to ask the very questions I am thinking about. She is great, and could carry the show on her own. I am so tired of the emphasis on perfection in mass media - beauty, youth, perfect speech, wealth - it does not reflect the real world. Joke is a real person and she nails it.
I like the podcast, but half the episodes won’t play.
I’d say start with the eps beginning with when he gets caught. Great job all around.
Content good overall, but Joke’s accent and/or inability to pronounce “th” is very distracting and annoying. Hate to make that critique, but when your job is a podcaster, it’s an important skill.
This podcast is very thorough. I like the content a lot, but Joke’s accent/speech impediment makes it a bit of a difficult listen. She is very intelligent and asks the important questions which is what keeps me listening! At first I had a hard time listening, but content overrides the accent! Keep it up guys!
Love it ! Keep it going !
The not Duh Ruins the whole content with that awful accent

I anticipate the release of each new podcast. I’ve listened to all podcasts about GSK and this one is great too because it’s being released after he was arrested. The interviews are interesting and in depth. Especially the one with the neighbor who grew up next to GSK. If they repeat things other podcasts have gone over I don’t care, because anything about this case is interesting to me repeated or not. I’ll be following this up to the trial and after. Hopefully the trial is broadcasted to the public. Thank you for a great podcast.
Subject matter interesting The hosts have to hone their interview skills and manners. It’s a compelling story but real people were killed and raped. The hosts and some of interviewees don’t seem very respectful. Too bad this want handled by better journalists.
I think the podcast is highly gripping and I’m loving it as we are starved for any information on the EAR .. Only suggestion is, every host keeps saying “you know” when they’re thinking about what to say - open pauses are not something to worry about ..
Your ads are really irritating and you don’t need to state your names every time. Focus on the content, which by the way has been covered much more effectively by other podcasts.

When the male host, essentially, asked if GSK brought his own plates........... let that sink in.................. I stopped listening right there and deleted it all. CNN and HLN are awful so I should have known better. Criminology and Casefile are far better. Brought. His. Own. Plates. Jesus help us all.
Only noobs call him gsk. It earons. Your podcast is too conservative, take some risks. I feel like you’re trying to appease LE.
Please, turn down the ridiculous background music. You can barely hear what the speaker is saying.
I think the hosts have really followed the case, and it's intersting to hear the follow up that I've missed in the news.
I enjoy this podcast and look forward to more episodes but I have to say the music during the interview of the neighbor was jarring. It was way too loud and seemed really out of place. It was hard to focus on the interview.
I started this after the GSK was caught so it’s been satisfying knowing it’s not cold while listening. The hosts are thorough, and I love hearing Paul Holes offering his insight and expertise!
Very interesting
It’s 2019 you cant come this late with this information and package it as New. Criminology interviewed every one of these guests and already and more completely covered all this info.
?? More information please !!!?? Arrest/search warrant!!!! All of a sudden just stopped I understand he’s been caught but there is still so much to report on.
The case has been covered more compellingly by Casefile.
This podcast is one of the best! I have learned so much from listening and can’t get enough. So well done and so informative. You’d be a fool to pass up this podcast! You won’t be disappointed. I promise!
So I just happened to stumble across this podcast while searching for a new one. It caught my eye and my ears and I found it to be compelling. Especially since he hadn’t been caught in 30+ years. Little did I know that I personally had a connection to this case. My wife’s aunt might have been murdered by the suspect. She was Phyllis O’Brien Carson and San Joaquin reopened the cold case in connection with the GSK case.
This is an excellent podcast really but this and a few other podcasts that must play music the entire time the people are speaking are starting to rub me the wrong way. There’s no need for dramatic music to be played behind a person giving factual information. It’s distracting from what the person is saying and I can only listen to little bit set a time when it has that loud music in the background. Where as if I listen to a podcast without that kind of music I can listen to the whole series without a problem . The music is so loud it almost drowns out the person speaking and if I had a way to shut that background music off completely I would.
I just finished listening to this podcast. It was really interesting and amazing that he was never caught. Well today they caught him!
Just like the TV show- this podcast is a total waste of time and serves as propaganda for the crummy show. I was told that the show would reveal the EARONS face using DNA but all it did was rehash old news that you can find on podcasts on the subject. Nothing new here.
Detailed and engaging, this podcast works as a companion to the HLN documentary, or a stand-alone piece.

Excellent podcast! I don’t want it to end
I’ve long been a true crime buff, having studied forensic science as a potential career path. Over the course of the last year I’ve become absolutely ensconced in following the GSK case, and think the work and presentation between both the HLN series and this accompanying podcast is absolutely stunning and professional.
Good content but ridiculously overproduced.
This seems more like a companion to the show on HLN rather than a standalone podcast and since I am not watching the show I feel like I’m missing out a little bit. I rate this at three but I am unsubscribing. It’s just not that exciting.
