Reviews For Podcasts – ESL Teacher Talk – ESL Podcasts for Teachers

What a waste of everyone's time. Like the other reviewer's kindly posted, these guys drag on and on before finally reaching their tiny point.
It's always interesting to hear what other teachers are doing and get new ideas from them.
Some of the content is good but the conversations drag on and are just a tremendous waste of time to listen through. It seems as though the hosts feel like they have a time quota to fill and think of anything and everything they can to fill time and then only talk a little about real content. It's painful to sift through and as a fellow ESL teacher, I just don't have the time to listen to all the nonsense to try to get to anything significant. Each episode should be condensed to 5 minutes. Great idea, but terrible delivery.
The guests they have on some of the shows are fantastic, such as Sue from Italy. The hosts,Mark and Eric really need to work on presenting themselves more professionally. I suggest they try to reduce the number of times they say, "Cool", and "Whatever", and "Anyways",and "I dunno". They do provide about 5 to 10 minutes of worthwhile chat and information; however, they take between 30 to 60 minutes to do so.
It takes a while for the speakers to make their points. This would be a useful tool for ESL teachers, if the podcast speakers would get to the point more quickly.
