The Orthobullets Podcast

Reviews For The Orthobullets Podcast

bone podcast for those interested in Bone Biology, pathology, surgical treatment of bone pathology regardless of its location
This podcast has been extremely helpful. I’ve been a Physician Assistant for 16 years & I’m now switching to hand surgery from sports medicine. I wanted to listen to an educational podcast on my commute into work. I greatly appreciate this resource. It’s been very helpful. I appreciate how there’s not a 15 min personal story/dialogue at the beginning like other podcasts out there. This jumps right into the topic. It’s short, succinct & informative. I especially like the questions at the end. Thank you for making these!!
Orthobullets delivers straight medical material in the usual format - etiology, symptoms, objective findings etc. The episode duration can fit well into transitional time period - on the way to work, out to the store for example. One strength of the podcast is the multiple choice questions at the end; questions reinforce the content — and these questions do a nice job picking up details from the episode.
Great reviews for PTs
Solid Information. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this!
Thank you so much for daily reviews! I am a PTA student. This helps me gain more knowledge on different ortho related pathologies and everything related to it.
Very informative podcast.
Fantastically produced and well thought out podcast. Covers essential information in a concise and clear manner. A must have for orthopedic residency.
I don’t know of any DAILY orthopaedic surgery or even medical podcast out there and somehow Orthobullets is able to deliver this unbelievable service for FREE and without even a single ad! I’m super grateful and a fan for life. Thank you!!!
Great podcast. I’m a PA in orthopedics in a rural hospital so anything and everything could come in. This is a great review of the common and not so common diagnoses. I listen to this while I workout in the AM and it has been great and helped me many times in clinic that same day or a couple days later when that very topic walked through the door.
I’m an orthopedic spine nurse practitioner working in a busy ortho practice. I would like to gain knowledge about other areas outside of the spine and this is just what I was looking for! I can listen on my drives to and from work since the episodes are short and very to the point! Highly recommend!
Ortho resident here. Perfectly concise and an efficient way to day review on my commute. Would love if this was organized by topics, or searchable. Some podcasts have seasons, so making each topic like a season could make it easier to search for particular topics. For example, a peds “season” that is alphabetical and easy to find peds-femoral shaft fractures.
As an non ortho resident this an extremely efficient way to review Orthopaedic principles / management. I find it to be concise and to focus on relevant topics.
This is a great resource. Listen to it regularly. Nice reviews of orthopaedic topics without any bias. Love the questions. Makes reviewing various topics fun. I wish there was a way to get CME even if a cost was involved. Thank you so much for doing this.
This is a fantastic idea and I'm super grateful for whoever is putting in the time to do these daily posts. I just wish the reader didn't sound so bored/annoyed every time he reads something. Maybe throw some mnemonics/anecdotes in there to keep it fun or have someone read it that's actually passionate about this stuff. And perhaps find some other ways to transition between subtopics without saying "with respect to [blank]" every single time?
Outstanding! Truly a great resource!
An absolute necessity for trainees and surgeons alike. As mentioned by other reviewers, I look forward to a time when the podcasts will be much more organised/ sorted and searchable.
Great review for long or short drives and doing stuff around the house. Keep it up please!
Great podcast. Would be very helpful to be able to search podcast by subject (i.e sports, recon, trauma etc).
I love having a mobile/audio option as I have to drive hours each day to work but please DISCONTINUE THE HORRENDOUSLY LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS LADY AND ANCEF PUMP at the beginning of each episode. It literally scares me each time a new episode starts. Otherwise, great podcast and keep them coming!
Helped me a lot specially while reviewing for board exam
Great way to review on the go
Well done. For me the topics are the perfect length
Love listening on my long commute. Great boards prep. I wish there was more repetition of important facts, as repetition is key to adult learning.
Perfect review to listen to during my commute to work!
Excellent presentation and teaching
Man, where was this when I was first starting off in my training?! EVERYBODY knows Orthobullets is the clutch resource for ortho residents/fellows trying to study during training. But during “down time” (which feels like there is less and less of these days), these audio lectures are the best on commutes, breaks and train rides. Really happy you guys decided to do this! Keep them coming, please!!!!
This podcast is what I have been waiting for! Orthobullets is an amazing platform to begin with, but with how busy residents and medical students are, this seems to be the perfect medium to consume such a high volume of information! I can listen to this during my commutes, during workouts or whenever is convenient for me. As an auditory learner, I’m loving this approach and hope you keep the innovation coming Orthobullets!
