I really wanted to like this but the narrator is very monotone and says two words, pause, two words, pause. It’s hard to enjoy the story when you can’t get past the delivery.
I’m really enjoying this podcast. Its hard to find a good one where the host doesn’t sound like he’s reading from a script. I love how he gives us a mini history lesson at the beginning. Keep up the great work. Can’t wait to binge listen!!
Well done , I love the voice and pace and perspective and think it is of high quality.
Has me spooked and hits home that it pays to be vigilant or, as you say, swivel headed
Thank you
i really enjoy the deep dive that this show takes, especially with more recent cases such as chris watts and tiffany jenkins. true crime can sometimes get a little too conspiracy theory for me but this really looks into legal issues, evidence, and the particulars of each case. it's like true crime and a detective show all rolled into one!
His voice is a bit monotone. I hope as time goes on with the podcast he’ll speak with a little more emotion. But I do love the content so I’ll give 5 stars.
This guy is so boring that I can’t listen any longer..barely got through 5 episodes. He doesn’t even know he uses words that aren’t in the English language.
This is a really great podcast, and I’ve been listening since the first few episodes were released. I love the narrator’s voice. It’s soothing, which helps a lot when listening to such horrific stories. Keep up the good work! Thanks!
Hands down, my favorite new podcast when I want to turn to crime stories that are easy to listen to and compelling. This show packs a punch! Thankful to have my morning commute a lot more enjoyable :)
Again, another narrator who is clearly reading the script. Take a look at newscasters. They’re reading, but you can’t tell! Too much like elementary story time. Over enunciates. Boring. Try listening to other massively popular podcasts and take notes!
Excellent find! We came across your show on Twitter and decided to give it a listen - very glad we did! The hosts a breath of fresh air and a joy to listen to - the topics are interesting and bingeworthy. Keep up the great work - cannot wait to binge more content <3 Yergy & Drewby
Aaron is an amazing host. He has the perfect voice for podcasting and you can tell how much episode and compassion goes into each episode. I love that he covers a variety of cases too and ones that aren’t covered frequently. Cannot recommend enough!
I am a HUGE True Crime fan. I consume a ridiculous amount of podcasts and I had high hopes for this one. Both hosts are very monotone and the background music always makes me feel like I have a ringing in my ears. It’s too bad, because the content is great!
The music and transitions of this podcast are terrible. The quality of sound, and management of the commercial breaks is truly awful. This podcast needs major audio engineering help.
In addition, the female voice that reads text messages/emails of victims, is incredibly flat and emotionless. There's no heart that goes into telling these stories.
I'm insulted by the reviewer who compared this to Casefile. On no planet is this anything like it, except there is a single male narrator.
Learn how to edit properly and stop with the beginning and ending summary monologues. They are ridiculously stupid and don't make any sense. Also The Drive part 2 makea no sense.
The male narrator seems to have either something in his mouth the whole time, or maybe a speech impediment. The good reviews must have been given mostly by their friends...
I had high hopes for this podcast. The narrator needs to speak a little slower and insert some dramatic pauses.... his speech is way too fast and hurried. Reminds me of the early episodes of Casefile before the narrator found the right cadence. Also the editing and intro music is just BAD.
