The Woj Pod

Reviews For The Woj Pod

You just need an engineer.
It’s a fine pod, but when you take 6min of 20min for commercials…I tend to find other options.
Glad to be back regularly!
Is there anyway to take Woj’s knowledge and give it to someone who’s more enjoyable to listen to?
I love following the Woj bombs and his reporting. It just seems ESPN assumed if he was good at that, he would be good at hosting a podcast too. He is a poor host, often droning on and on and taking (literal) minutes to ask a question. He is the equivalent of a ball stopper in conversations. The podcast also will go days and up to a week without a new episode. I think he should stick with what he does best.
Lost respect for his “ journalism”
The best story of the 2022 NBA Playoffs has to be Victor Oladipo. The interview was excellent and the story needed to be told. Thanks Woj for great pod.
While Woj deserves kudos for his breaking news on all things NBA, his woke takes on all social issues is tiring. Just like Rachel Nichols and the rest of the woke white liberals, they’ll come after you Woj, no matter how “woke” you are. Might just stick to basketball instead of waddling into political/social discourse
Go Woj, go!
The Woj Pod is, without a doubt, one of the best sports’ podcasts that I have ever listened to and reviewed. While other sports may be mentioned occasionally, it focuses mainly on basketball and the National Basketball Association or NBA. I came across this podcast while on the “Podcasts” application on my phone and browsing through basketball podcasts. It caught my eye because I recognized the name “Woj” who is a notable analyst and quite familiar in the basketball and NBA world. In fact, one of the main things that stands out about the podcast itself is its’ host, Adrian Wojnarowski, who has a calm and collected persona with a vast knowledge of the game of basketball and the NBA in general. He is the perfect host for this relaxed podcast where he interviews established figures in the basketball world and engages in conversation with them. I listened to a couple episodes of this podcast and was impressed with the different individuals that come on. From former stars to current players to athletic trainers who have worked with some of the best in the world, you really get a feeling of awe when listening to the Woj Pod Some questions I would really want to ask Mr. Wojnarowski is who is someone he would like to meet in the future and who was someone that he was starstruck by. I would like to ask these questions because from what I’ve listened to, Adrian has met many renowned persons in the basketball community, and it’d be fascinating to hear who he hasn’t met yet and who he would want to meet. Some additional topics that I would like this podcast to cover include athletes who are at the collegiate level who are prospects going into the NBA Draft and the side of the NBA that most people don’t see, such as what athletes went through growing up or tough situations that they were in and had to overcome. These would pertain to the basketball aspect of this podcast as well as add some depth and detail into an already comprehensive show. Overall, this podcast was a fantastic and memorable listen that was quite interesting to listen to. While this podcast may not interest the average person, it will surely intrigue your average basketball fan or avid sports fan.
Really respect woj but wow.. his questions are so long winded.. tighter questions could really help the flow of the pod
Yes, Woj is knowledgeable and respected, it's true. But the interviewing style leaves a lot to be desired. Woj- Instead of asking the question, trying to answer the question, re-asking the question, suggesting possible answers, and then at long last asking the question a final time, how about just asking the question one time and letting the guest answer? Simple, efficient, informative.

Woj should’ve stayed with Yahoo. His stories and podcasts are soaked in input from Disney and it shows. No provocative questions or interesting stories, just cookie cutter nonsense
Woj is very thorough and precise in his interviews, if a little bit stiff. Some background music and better audio quality could go a long way.
Woj’s insights about life and the NBA, reflected by the remarkable level of trust that he players and others in the NBA have in him, are excellent and informative.
all hail king woj
Great podcast
This was a joy, thank you!
Bring Chris Cote back to Lebetard Show ESPN
You are the only truly thoughtful and nuanced personality that actually backs up his takes with ACTUAL evidence
The best in the game. If you love hoops, you’ll love this.

Nothing but a creepy Chinese stooge. Got owned by Senator Hawley
Welcome back Woj, it’s nice to hear your podcast again! 🏀
Free Woj! From quarantine :)
Free WOJ!!!
You’re entitled to free speech and shouldn’t have been forced to apologize. But you think it’s a smart idea to verbally accost someone when they suggest also being able to support a side that you disagree with? It was a mediocre podcast anyway.

Nothing like seeing the true colors of someone for who they are. See ya Adrian. You’ll be gone along with your network
Saw your comment to Senator Hawley same to you Woj.
Lol this guy should not be on the internet. This guy literally just bowed his knee to China. Its disgusting cursing at a senator trying to get people human rights.
Woj cannot last 5 minutes without blasting the president. I get it, you’re a far-left guy who wants our country to be run like the CCP, and I don’t care! But I also don’t want to constantly be lectured about it
Hi mr Woj I am 14 years old and trying to improve my skills when you are talking to the players can you do a segment and ask them what drills they did to get better you don't have to but it would REALLY REALLY HELP thx🙂👍 PS:Great pod!!!!!
Fantastic show. I think it’s really important to get that information out there regardless of what side of the aisle you’re on.
Keep sports and politics separate. Woj is a lib who hosted Andy Slavitt, a former Obama official who is pushing worst case scenario coronavirus outcomes for bogus reasons
Woj is a massive hypocrite and never once had a negative word about the repressive, communist government of China. If you enjoy liberal talking and someone who hates republicans and conservatives, this podcast is for you.
Woj is the goat
Need more interviews like the sit down with Doc Rivers and Erik Spoelstra. That format was great and made an immediate subscriber.
No one has their ear to the NBA ground better than Woj! Always a great listen. Only complaint is the sound quality. As a sound engineer it grinds my gears a bit. I usually run it through my own gates, de-essers and processing when i listen to it
Woj, you’re great man, but please update your sound quality to match your information and insight quality. I’ve had to turn off to many episodes because I couldn’t keep listening to someone smacking their lips and breathing into the mic. Easy fixes that would make your show sooooo much better. Update: Dude seriously. Audio quality is still so bad!!
He breathes so heavy on the mic it’s uncomfortable to hear the guest speak
Woj says “like” every sentence like a teenage girl
Great interviews and info

The interview, no the conversation, with Meyers and Green was great! Good job Woj!!!
Announce giannis supermax with the bucks
Woj is a great insider and he’s well connected which I’m sure helps booking guests, but he needs work on his interviewing skills. His style of asking questions lends to leading his guests to the answers he expects. Ask 1 question and let them answer it and then ask a follow up question based on the topic or their answer. Don’t ask multiple questions before letting them answer or preface the question with his opinion before asking. Not a bad podcast if you like his guest but there is much better sports content and interview podcasts out there.
Woj is great at getting the first scoop on all things NBA. His style of interviewing subjects, however, leaves much to be desired. He’s a non-conversationalist who brings a stodgy approach that comes off like he’s going through a list of questions. I know he’s highly respected in NBA circles, but The Lowe Post, for example, is light years ahead in terms of delivery, insight and listening ability.
I’ve been enjoying Woj pods since way before this new iteration on ESPN. He ran it for quite awhile on yahoo which was good, I like Woj insights. He is well connected and it shows with his conversations. Woj bomb!
Can’t even understand many of the episodes, so deleted from my subscription. I don’t typically review podcasts and my expectations are generally pretty low, but this is horrible.
