Chasing Cosby

Reviews For Chasing Cosby

I’m a true crime junkie. This podcast had me engrossed in it from the 1st episode. The combination of the victims retelling and Nikkis thorough reporting of Cosby’s crimes kept me glued to my speaker. The women and their stories were so impactful as they each wasgroomed and manipulated by a sick predator made to be untouchable. I’ll be a long fan of any podcast by Nikki !
A must to listen to as we learn about the prevalence of abuse of power and use of manipulation to sexually assault women, as well the system and culture around victim shaming and believing the perpetrator.
This podcasts shines the light in all the right places. A great series that needs to be heard.
I can’t thank you enough for this podcast. Just discovered it a few days ago and this story needs to be shouted from the rooftops. I hope a docuseries is made as these women need to be heard. We are half the population who has to constantly protect ourselves from the other half. These stories are important. Thank you for your hard work and support the last 15 years. THANK YOU!
Thanks for the info and entertainment.

I’ve always wanted to know more about this case in detail, thank you.
I was in elementary school when the Cosby Show was at the height of its popularity and remember Jello Pudding Pops. That WAS my impression of Bill Cosby. I am so glad he was held accountable for his monstrous, predatory behavior and feel such sympathy for his victims. The podcast was paced exactly right, narration was excellent and obviously spot-on with research. Kudos! 5*!!
I knew the story...but not like this. Great job. Interviewing witnesses who hold this much sorrow and trauma is NOT easy. You could tell they trusted you. Thank you for giving them a voice. 5 stars.
This is an excellent podcast with real interviews of the victims. If you grew up with Bill Cosby, it’s a must! Gives you a new light into who he really was.
...for speaking and creating space for the truth despite immense pressure, I imagine, to prevent you from doing so. You are courageous and a true professional.
A spellbinding podcast. So many factual details I wasn’t aware of. The wonderful voice of this podcast was so enjoyable to listen to. PLEASE make more!!! I listened to this once twice!!!
This disturbing of what he did I no women deserve of sexual abuse and assault and this is show is well done justice was well served
I wish this podcast was not so one sided. It would have been better journalism to air other viewpoints beyond accusers testimony. The same conclusions could be drawn without being so heavy handed and narrow. The real story is likely more complex.
Amazing podcast and great job bringing that monster to justice. I hope he never sees the light of day again outside a federal prison great work

Excellently done. Thanks you for bringing the details of this story to light. Thanks you to the victims for having the courage to come forward.
Thank you for telling this sordid tale. What a horrible creature we used to praise, unknowingly. Thanks to the brave women who stood up to that beast.
All of the work done by all of these women has made a huge difference in the world. It’s way over due. Nicole reported on Cosby’s crimes for years and her podcast does an excellent job of telling the full story.
Chasing Cosby is very very well done. It’s very informative and very well produced. Nicki, the host is great and has a great voice. Cosby is a monster and this podcast explains how and gives the women a voice.
Quick paced, informative, not loaded with a million commercials, shocking
I grew up hearing Bill Cosby’s jokes and watching Fat Albert on Saturday morning. One thing that drew me to him was his art was clean. Just funny. As I became an adult, I started noticing that he projected something so couldn’t put my finger on. A since of importance. An, “I’m better than you.” attitude. So, when this all came out, I beloved the women and wasn’t too surprised. I am sorry these women had to go through the horrible things Bill Cosby did too them. I’m glad he’s where he is. I wish nothing but good for these ladies and thank them for their courage to come forth with their stories. Thank you, Nikki, for the pod case. A fantastic job!
Episodes 1 and 2 are not missing on mine. Great stuff!!
I would give 5 stars but episodes 1 & 2 are missing.
It’s just profoundly disturbing to discover the stories behind the court case and headlines. I hope these survivors find support, peace, and purpose. Thank you to everyone involved in this podcast.
I didn’t know many details of the Cosby case—wow! I was fascinated!
I listened to every episode of this podcast in one afternoon. It is extremely well produced and the writers/creators tell the story honestly and thoughtfully. Highly recommend.
Bill Cosby is a bad man. This podcast describes how and proves this fact to be true. It’s life changing. The live episode at the end is empowering and beautiful. I can’t wait to see so much more from the creators
Topic is good but can’t stand when narrators try to inject themselves into it.
Excellent reporting & great storytelling. Audio engineering is top notch too. So thankful exceptional investigative journalists like Nikki are doing this work. A timely & cautionary tale.
I only knew headlines and didn’t give the story enough thought and then I became totally engrossed in the podcast. My heart goes out to the victims. The reporter did a great job in telling so many peoples stories. I hope a documentary will follow. People need to hear this story! Thank you!
I remember when the first trial came out. I didn’t pay much attention. I loved Bill Cosby. But I had questions because it’s so difficult for women to come forward and admit to being raped so publicly. Especially against someone so well loved by everyone. But the media painted her as someone attempting to get money from Cosby. But when the second trial came out I was convinced. There were more than 50 women who came forward. Hearing the stories was heartbreaking. But IMPORTANT!!! I wanted to understand what happened and how to begin the process of changing laws and public understanding around sexual violence.
If you are a non-believer or a man who takes issue with the rhetoric of women who have survived sexual assault, I urge you to leave your ego at the door and allow yourself to hear a harrowing story that should be, and will be told for years to come (whether you like the hosts voice, or not). I want to sincerely thank all of the people who worked to tell this story and create this show. Thank you for doing the research when the material did not yet exist. Thank you for being some of the first to swallow a pill that people still refuse to. Thank you for reminding me that an abusers life is not worth more the mine and that other people agree with me.
I fully support the victims of Bill Cosby. I fully disagree that it isn’t about race and is inconsistent to have one victim to say they are ostracized for going after a black man and one woman say it’s not about race. Get real and accept our societies biases.

I knew of Cosby’s horrible sexual assaults on these women but I never knew the details. This is facinating, well written and told. The women’s voices and stories are heartbreaking and I’m so impressed at their courage to come forward and encourage other survivors to tell their stories as well. I couldn’t wait each week for new episodes to come out! Must listen!
Very well done and informative
This podcast was so well written and produced as it took us on a journey behind the scenes of catching and convicting a one time hero. This case along with Harvey Weinstein and the case of Jeffrey Epstein are just the beginning of holding powerful people accountable for horrific crimes. We can’t stop here, so many people were complicit in allowing these crimes to happen and God only knows the amount of money paid to people who are actually supposed to be protecting and prosecuting these scum bags. We must learn to do the hard things and stand against the power that is wielded by these people. We have lost the voices and talent of those who were victims of these men. They are not the women they would have been. Even I struggle with what would I do in the situation of knowing what is happening and doing the right thing vs losing my income and having to help fight a battle that needs to be fought. These women have my complete respect. May God continue to heal.
Many of us grew up with the Cosby Family and Bill Cosby the comedian, so when negative press and allegations come out about someone you liked/admired when kinda want to pretend it’s not true. However, for me truth and authenticity are more important. Honor these women, listen to their stories and learn about the double life did Bill Cosby live. Heartbreaking and real. Please listen and then share. Break the silence and stigma around sexual assault.
I am one who ducked my head under cover and ignored this story in the media because I didn’t want to hear or acknowledge the downfall of an American Legend. One day I found this podcast and thought I’d give it a listen. Wow. Just wow. My eyes and ears are opened. Hearing the firsthand accounts from the victims is so incredibly powerful. No doubt in my mind that he is guilty. Well-done podcast, high-quality and VERY informative. I am changed.
The order of the podcast was difficult to follow and it felt like complete male bashing. Wouldn’t recommend.
This podcast is very well done. The story should continue to circulate as a reminder that the truth always comes out and we need to objectively pick our heroes. Every adult male and female should listen. He has made fools of us all.
The order the information was presented in made the podcast difficult to follow. I understand the host reported on these stories, but I feel like she mentions herself too much.
I am relatively new to listening to podcasts but found each episode wanting more. Amazing bit of journalism and telling the story of “America’s Dad” gone wild and a well calculated sexual predator.
Very well researched and presented
Such a great chronicle of the fall of Cosby. The victims’ stories are compelling and heart wrenching. The reporting is clear and concise. Highly recommend this show. And most importantly, it’s time to believe survivors. Not just when it’s convenient or easy, but every single time.
This podcast is extremely well done. It made me think and it made me emotional. Thank you for sharing this story in such an eloquent and thought-provoking way.
