Everything about this podcast is perfect. 10/10 highly recommend. I binged several the first night, I had to switch to something else or I would’ve stayed up all night listening. His delivery, the light music in the background, all of it is perfect.
His voice his detail while story telling I’ve been listening to a lot of YouTube videos of this amazing person and when I finally started listening to podcasts this channel was the first one I looked up I absolutely 10000000000 times will always recommend this channel not only is it very educating but what I love is this person doesn’t try to hard like other channels it comes naturally and just flows
I am a big mythology buff and everything he covers is very accurate and a melting pot of all the stories into one! My only complaint is the episodes don’t last forever!!!
I’ve listened to many mythology podcasts trying to learn more about such mythology’s. This one is the most interesting and with the most articulated host.
this really satisfies my wanting to hear interesting stories and learning something along the way - and no commercials! I only wish that the narration can be just a little more animated - the calm and even voice often puts me to sleep so I have to keep repeating the same episode a few times in order not to miss anything. but otherwise, great podcast.
I could listen to your stories for hours I can learn something new every time I listen to the same story. I wish you’d do more of mythology. It’s so great having you back with your wonderful stories. I would love 5 more stories on your Otis series. It’s the way you tell your stories, interesting and sometimes funny. Your voice is incredible! Thank you.
Handsome voice. Engaging storytelling. Insightful commentary. Learning new things about Greek stories I thought I already knew.
What more could I want?
Hermes, Athena, Apollo, and Dionysus have gifted this guy.
This show is rad. Very fun to listen to if you’re any kind of geek that loves stories.
Would love to hear parts 2 and 3 of Dante’s Inferno, very cool listen and approachable way to learn about intimidating older literature. It was almost like a “no fear Shakespeare” audio version of Dante, very neat.
Would also love to hear a Paradise Lost/Milton one
I enjoyed the Greek Mythology Explained book, but lately, a book on the Shinto Japanese gods is hard to come by, unlike Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Norse mythologies. Why not a book on Japanese mythology or folklore?
I love your content. It is always through researched and well defined to the best that anyone can be based on the resources available to us in these latter days. Keep up the amazing work. Sending much love.
Love, LOVE the YouTube channel. Now even better I have something to break up the ridiculously stressful political talk. Soothing and educational, there is always something new that I get to learn. Extremely well put together and well taught, my story teller!
I absolutely LOVE the YouTube channel and I’m super excited these fantastic tales are available as a podcast. Each episode is informative and entertaining, especially the side commentary. It’s my favorite and leaves me in stitches. It will be awesome to download episodes to listen to while traveling, especially when mobile service is spotty. For new listeners, you’re in for a treat. Cheers! 😀
