Reviews For Murder With My Husband

I absolutely love this podcast! I’m always listening in when I’m at work or in the car on a long drive. The only thing I dislike about the podcast is when I spend 40 MINUTES of my time listening and then it’s unsolved.. LIKE WHY!!!!! I’m so invested then my whole thought process on who did it is just crushed. Anyways still leaving a 5 star cause you guys are awesome:) Also I’m looking at other reviews who rate you guys low and they are just so dumb like are you joking.
My wife recently introduced me to this podcast and I absolutely love it. I went all the way back to the beginning and have been binging every episode. I love that there are many cases that I’ve never heard of and the dynamic between Payton and Garrett is awesome. Very entertaining podcast and I would recommend it to any and all true crime fans!! If I could give one piece of criticism it would only be that sometimes Payton talks WAYYYY too fast! I’m not sure that she needs oxygen to breathe. Some cases are hard to follow because she just goes way too fast through it. Take a breath girl and let us follow you. Other than that, great podcast!!
I have listened to every single episode of this show and would give it 5/5 stars every time. Payton truly cares about the victims of the cases and tells their stories with emotion and important facts, and Garrett takes the edge off with some pretty amusing commentary.
Little to no trigger warnings for animal abuse and unnecessary graphic detail.
My favorite podcast. I still remember all the older episodes and how I listened to them while at school. I hated school and this made it so much better. Much love.
Peyton and Garrett are the highlight of my week! I recommend this podcast to anyone and everyone! The drive to work is no longer dreadful!
I enjoy the show, however it would be nice if Payton would stop inserting herself in Garrett’s 10 seconds. Like just be quiet during his moment, you have the whole show.
These 2 hosts are adorable. I’ve been trying to add more new podcasts to my lineup. Sorry to say I can’t get past 5 minutes on some. I really appreciate all the work and dedication that it takes to put these episodes out. Thank you very much for giving me hours of entertaining and very interesting stories.
So glad I found this podcast & the others that Payton has! Far too often, other crime podcasts are so long and drawn out, are on super old cases, and I’m SO tired of negative comments towards law enforcement; absolutely unnecessary political standpoints which Garrett and Payton do not include. So refreshing! As a police wife, support of LEO is really important to me in all aspects of life. Love you guys!! Garrett, like a typical man, says things that make me laugh because it’s so far off from what I’m thinking or getting from the story.. it reminds me of my husband.
Love Payton's storytelling and the chemistry that she and Garrett have together. I've listened to many true crime podcasts and I really enjoy the shorter format and the lack of constant unnecessary cursing that you find in SO many of the others. If I'm looking for a more in depth, deep dive into a case I'll go to True Crime Garage. But these two have true compassion for the victims and I love how they make a point to remember them at the end of each episode. Thanks for a not too gruesome telling of these true crime cases!
I started listening to MWMH a few months ago and started from the beginning. I truly enjoy listening to these two. The way they interact with each other, Payton’s storytelling and commitment to details, Garrett’s honest reactions to the crimes, everything is so addicting about this podcast. I’ve never left a comment for another podcast but I binge listen to episodes because they are so good. Also truly appreciate how they honor the victims and keep their memories alive. I’m not current with the new episodes but I will continue to binge listen until I get there!
Use to absolutely love & look forward to the weekly episodes!!! Now all they seemingly do is poach things from 48 hours pod & even speak of it similarly!!! Time to revamp & get back to your own cases & thoughts… No longer worth the listen…
Girl, your story telling is subpar: your grammar is deplorable, you’ve mispronounce countless words in literally every episode I’ve listen to (including “every day”/common English words), your historical knowledge is embarrassing as it’s lacking even the most fundamental understanding important to the story you’re presenting and your speculation isn’t even armchair worthy (crime related or otherwise). The growth between your first few episodes and your most recent is minimal. I recommend working on your grammar/ reading/ pronunciation skills, take a public speaking class (or two), and take the time to educate yourself a bit more in regards to the foundational details of the story. Ditch the husband, he is so dull … Also, stop sharing the lame personal stories. You can’t make boring/ mundane “cool” - y'all are trying too hard and it’s coming off as the “pick me” podcast.
I found yalls podcast from an older episode yall did with another couple. I work from home (no phones 🙌🏼) so I have tons of free listening time while I get my work done. Your podcast has been playing episodes BACK TO BACK TO BACK ever since I found you and I love it!!! I love true crime so I can relate to Payton but I also can relate to Garrett’s live commentary. Makes for great listening!
I love this podcast! I love true crime, but most of them are explicit but I love that this one is not. Thank you!
The amount of mispronunciation is so awful, even the ads have them! (“They partner director with…”) yikes. Also, I have to say this, Garrett’s responses are so s t u p i d😣 Not saying he is stupid, rather what he says is stupid. He offers absolutely nothing to the podcast with his mindless empty remarks on the cases. He sounds so forced. Please guys do better, try harder, work more on editing and learning how to pronounce things correctly. You owe it to the people who listen to your show, and to the victims and their families. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
i love the way payton is so sensitive and considerate when talking about the cases and the families involved and garrett is just so funny and has the best one-liners. they have such an amazing relationship and it shows in the podcast. i do wish payton covered more diverse cases like more POC or members of the LGBTQIAP+ community but besides that i love this pod very much!!!! i want to be payton’s bestie
Garrett don’t listen to the mean comments I love what you add to the show! Half the time you say exactly what I’m thinking and it makes me feel validated! I was actually just thinking today that you should start your own podcast! Keep doing what you’re doing- y’all are awesome!
My husband and I love MWMH so much that we re-listen to episodes to fall asleep at night. Haha! Payton is such a talented story teller, and Garrett cracks us up. Both of them are funny, and we love relating to them as a couple. They’re just the best. <3 hope to see them one day in person. (Ohio would love to have you!)
I think Peyton is a good storyteller but it’s gotten to where I can’t listen because the amount of ads is unbearable.
Dear daisy watch out for the michel myers of mobile Alabama my name is grace and I would like to say I love your show ok I will begin me and three other family’s we’re going to a dance competition and we decided to all stay at a air b and b when we first arrived the air b and b the town was like in a movie super sketchy and there were homeless people walking up and down the streets I am pretty sure we also saw fratt boys then when we pulled up and got inside the house was super cute and super old however it was late so we all just went to bed the next morning we were all watching greys anatomy and drinking coffee when we came across this book. The book was all the people who had stayed in it before have wrote in it. So as we were skimming through the pages we saw this house is haunted and Reagan hid the body under the floor. This didn’t concern us much because we just thought some kids were playing around. So then later that day when we were at the dance competition my sister had forgotten her medicine at the rental house.so my mom went back to the house and grabbed her medicine but on the way out this man walks up to her and he was like talking to himself and my mom just thought he was crazy so she quickly got in her car and drove back to the competition. That night when the competition was over we drove back to the air b and b to a different man sitting on our porch so we decided to drive around a little bit until he was gone. When he was gone we all quickly went inside and we were talking about the man at the table and what we should do if he comes back. Because at this point we were already really spooked bc we were a group of girls with no guys. anyways when we where talking my friend goo goo went to go look out the window to see if he was back and he was across the street on the nabors porch staring right at us. We quickly went to go and grab the parents and even they were freaked out bc now they new there were kids in the house so we alwent back to the dinner table taking about what to do and an hour later the hadn’t moved an inch and then we were looking out the window and we saw this girl came out and then they went inside and stared at us through there window. Everyone in the house was so scared we started packing our stuff and us kids had to wait on the couch why the parents loaded the car and then we all got in the car and we about to leave until my friend Anna left her phone inside so they left the car to go look for Anna’s phone while I was in the car alone glancing out the back window and I saw the man walk outside and get in his car and just sit there I told my mom what happened while everybody was still getting in the car. My mom said he might try to follow us so put your head down so we all put our heads down as my mom drove safety to a hotel. I hope yall enjoyed my story then again I don’t think your supposed to write dear daisys here but I hope if you read this you will put this in your next dear daisy.
Ever since the first episode, I am in love with you guys your voices are not annoying. They’re pleasant great storytelling I love all the details that are usually lost in dramas and crime podcast. You guys are my favorite by far I want to listen to every single episode I started at the beginning, and I’m working my way current
I’m on my way to Menard’s right now which makes me think of you guys 😂 So I thought it was a great time to review how awesome you guys are! I love the wholesomeness between the 2 of them and Payton is a great story teller!!
Great podcast all around.
Listening to MWMH is my new addiction. I love, love, love them both. I have suggested this podcast to others. I need about 85 episodes to catch up! Super informative! Still waiting to hear Garrett speak Spanish. LOL
Omg garrett says the dumbest stuff can he just stay quiet
If you are going to profit off victims please for the love of god at least get their names right.
Please his family is close to mine. I just want to know more and I want you to share the story
So I enjoy the podcast, overall it’s easy to listen to and I like most of the stories picked. But for the love of god, do some work on pronunciation and look up the words! Words, common cities, and NAMES! This can be rough to listen to sometimes. Last episode I listened to she kept saying Shreveport (a well known city in Louisiana) as “Shreverport” (think Trevor but with an sh-port… ma’am what?!)
Garrett ruins it. Peyton is a great story teller but Garrett needs to stay on mute. His contributions are super annoying and honestly really dumb. Makes the episodes painful to listen to.
More commercials than show. Gets worse and worse.
This is by far my favorite true crime podcast. I’ve been listening since the beginning! I really like that Peyton and Garret don’t use foul language and that she doesn’t go into the super hard details of what happened to victims. The podcast is informative and Garretts questions and surprised interactions are a great addition to the show.
I love the show so I decided to go back and start from episode 1. I’m now on episode forty something and loving it. Peyton is the best story teller.
it seems like most of the episodes are “subscribers only” if you’re going to do this why not just start a Patreon?? This podcast is ok but not $10/month to listen ok.
I like listening to you guys podcast my mom & me always listen when it’s us two and we are always surprised and trying to figure out the crimes along the way.

1/5

Just a hard show to listen to. She loves to say things like we in the true crime world or those of us in true crime. You have a podcast, not even a investigative podcast. You don’t bring new info about the crime to light, you regurgitate info already out there.
I absolutely love this podcast! I love the dynamic and the conversations within the episodes. I alway feel like i say then same thing right before Garrett says it. Payton does an amazing job with all the details and story telling. I started out just as a regular listener but then I subscribed to get bonus content, and now I am almost all caught up backtracking and listening to episodes from the beginning. Love love love. Can’t stop listening
I have always loved true crime, and I have listened to many of the mainstream podcasts out there on the topic. I found MWMH a few years ago, and I am hooked. Peyton tells each story with care, delicately covering each case while honoring the story of the victim. I love hearing Garrett’s ten seconds each episode, and I love Dear Daisy’s episodes as well! I highly recommend listening to these two every Monday! And don’t forget to check out Peyton’s other podcast, Into the Dark. Keep it up guys! 🥰
Such a great job relaying true crime stories. Garrett’s reaction to just hearing the story for the first time is great. I often have identical reactions as him at the same time 😂 SOO good!

5/5

Love you guys so much can’t get enough.
Lovin your podcasts keep on making more episodes please 🙏 and thank you 😊 and I found this loving it thank you into the dark
The last episode with the betrayed daughter was amazing. I mean terrible and heart wrenching, but you know what I mean. I love that you’re picking cases that aren’t so black and white and inspire people to really think and delve in to what true crime is You’re both the bestest! Keep up the awesome work!
I truly wanted to love the show. I had to stop on episode 118. The grammar errors, the lack of the hosts ability to answer the questions of her cohost husband , the incompleteness of some lines of thought… I just can’t take it anymore. I kept hoping it would improve as the couple got more experienced but it just hasn’t happened. The number of times. The host says the word word “actually”… it just wears thin. Sometimes it was as many as three times in one paragraph. Episodes after episode. Finally, the lack of transition between the content and the commercials is completely infuriating. To hear her go from tragedy to advertising bras is hard to take. I’m so done.
Yall I just found this podcast and I’m loving it!!!
I have binged all of their episodes. I love the shorter episodes about true crime. Also they are just a funny relatable couple. I wish you guys would do a live show in Denver, that would be so fun! Anyways would definitely recommend if you love true crime. It’s a great podcast.
She needs to do more research for the episodes. The mispronunciation of so many words and even names drove me crazy. Had to unsubscribe.
I enjoyed the authenticity of the hosts in the beginning. Unfortunately as the show has grown more followers, Payton seems to be going down the path of the preachy and unforgiving Monday morning quarterbacking style like many other true crime hosts. Listeners don’t need to be told what is moral and ethical. And if we are listening to a true crime podcast, we are probably already aware that marginalized communities have historically struggled to receive justice. We don’t need a vapid reminder every. single. episode. This podcast lacks substance and it is obvious the stories are researched very superficially.
