Reviews For Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, The Official Podcast

I wish these came out sooner after the show was released. Feels like a disconnect since it has been so long since I’ve watched. I’d be more excited if was fresh. Anyone who cares enough to listen to the podcast would have binged the show within the first week. Just a note. Otherwise lovely podcast.
What an absolute pleasure these podcasts are! The way Gabrielle engage each person you interview is so skilled. Your voice and exclamations are so genuine. Your questions go where I would (and some that would not occur to me)! The insight and depth of the cast and crew answers gave such dimension to the rich feast of ideas and emotions unleashed I get each time I watch the series. What a gift!
Excellent insights, interviews & perspectives into the episodes. Missing: The JEWELRY deep dive!!! Please give us ALL the details on the stunning pieces worn in the show on a future episode. How are they chosen? Are any real? Does someone make them? -KG from CT
I tuned in for the last episode as it has the leads in it but none of these people appear to be together when these interviews are happening. Not physically and not even on Zoom. It just appears to be a bunch of separate interviews patched together. What a sad official podcast. Also there are the ads but this is produced by iHeart so that is to be expected.
Best Bridgerton podcast on the airwaves. One of my fav insight was when Simone told her Haldi story
Love Gabrielle Collins and love that she catches all the same things that we do as the audience and asks those questions of the cast, crew, writers, and producers. Every Thursday I get so excited to hear from the makers of the show. Thank you so much for doing this podcast…honestly I could do with like 20 more episodes a season. Haha
I wish they could be 3x longer because the detail is so interesting!!! Definitely great for a show fan or anyone curious about how they create television these days.
After binge-watching the first two seasons, I needed more Bridgerton. This show provides the ultimate BTS look into how Shondaland created such a spectacular show. I can’t get enough!
I really look forward to new installments of this podcast, but the latest one is a miss. Gabrielle is not a good interviewer- she talks too slowly and does not ask good follow-up questions. How did she get this job and how is she a podcaster? It is unnerving how inanely and simplistically she speaks. “What themes did you explore other than love?” Huh?? Please replace her with someone more articulate and insightful, who can reply to comments with something other than “mmmm.” Cast and other interviewers are great.
Really fun to listen to in in’s and outs of this show!
Absolutely love the podcast!!! I was actually inspired to read the books. Hands down my fav episode The Queen & I with Adjoa & Golda.
I have already watched season 2 twice I can’t wait to hear all about the behind the scene details from the cast and crew. Everyone should listen to this podcast if they are a fan of Bridgerton 💜🐝👑
I really love the show Bridgerton and found this podcast and was excited to learn more. You can learn a lot about how the show was made. There are a lot of very cool facts and interviews. The content of the podcast is good. However, the ads are too much. Every 2 minutes there are ads. I feel like there are more ads in the show than content. It’s really annoying and takes away from the show. The show is good but I can’t stand the ads and it makes me want to give up on the show. Please remove the ads!!
I’ve really enjoyed this podcast! It was really great to get different perspectives and all behind the scene information was so interesting to learn. The one episode that mentions where this show made people read more is what personally rings true with me. After the first season I found my love for historical romances and decided to read the second book because I couldn’t wait for the second season. This was February 2021 and I’ve just finished my 47th book since. This is a show that has changed my life and I can’t wait to see what next season brings!
Love this podcast! I just wish they would have broken down each episode separately
I am finally writing a review after the episode with Golda Rosheuval and Adjoa Andoh. WOW. I love them in the series, and hearing more from them in the podcast was a real treat. I appreciate how the podcast allows enthusiasts of the series to dig deeper.
Loved the Bridgerton series. Was delighted to find this podcast. So proud of all the talented people who have collaborated to provide excellent programming! Can’t wait for season two!
I’ve loved the episodes so far. I really enjoyed the episodes with Nicola and the bits she has shared like her Whistledowning from the sidelines. I could really tell she has done her research and that she has put her all into portraying Penelope/Lady Whistledown. I also enjoyed the bit Julia Quinn shared about her dad reading her work w/o asking permission. That’s reminiscent of Colin catching Penelope reading his journals in RMB. It’s interesting to get a glimpse of Claudia Jessie’s lifestyle and her friendship with Nicola.
Love the bts but could you please talk with more of the cast? She’s not a Bridgerton and I don’t care if she was the first cast. So she’s Lady Whistledown, big deal. There are eight books and the mystery, not Penelope, was the interest. RMB isn’t even the best book. How about a show with the Bridgerton boys and talk about their relationship to each other? Or Ruth Gemmill and Polly Walker? Do something more interesting and on an actor who didn’t ingratiate herself with CVD so she could be in more scenes.
Love this podcast and love the show! However, I am quite disappointed to hear that the writers of the show and others on this podcast have zero respect for the romance genre. You can hear in their tone and comments that they are *shocked* that romance novels are *actually* quite good. They also seem to think that Julia Quinn (who is legitimately amazing) is the ONLY romance author who is talented, creative, intelligent, etc. A little research would go a long way people!
I enjoyed the behind the Lady Whistledowns podcast and I did notice Nicola in those episodes which made me guess that it was her before the reveal. If you watch Pen she is very focus on what is happening in those moments with the characters at these balls and just the way she is mesmerized was a tell tale sign for me that it was Pen. Thank you Nicola for being Lady Whistledowns. I ❤️ and adore you. 😘 Wonderful Podcast today👏🏼👏🏼
Such a wonderful behind the scenes podcast to continue my fantasy of this drama! Wishing to hear the individual interview of Darphane & Simon in the near future too! 🥰
I just want to thank the hosts and creators of this podcast for getting this started. The topics and guests have been fantastic. I love to hear the thoughts and conversations behind creating the show. Keep this going. I cannot get enough of it.
Like many people, I fell in love with Season 1 of Bridgerton and am elated about Season 2! This podcast gives incredible insight to the intention and creativity that is so beautifully translated on screen. The audio/editing of this podcast has great flow and is perfectly pieced together.
Where are the rest of the episodes?
Where did ya go?
Love continuing my Bridgerton obsession through a podcast <3
Well done storyline with excellent depictions of the manner and morals of society at that time. Costuming, decor and the role of women at this point in our Western culture.
Got sucked into the costumes, scenery and characters only to discover this was nothing but a romance novel brought to the screen. What a waste of time.
I love the digging deep into societal values. Also the voices of the production crew and the actors.
I love hearing about all that went into the magic we see onscreen. Everyone is so passionate about their craft and it is so heartwarming to hear how they experienced both the process and the end product. LOVE THIS PODCAST!
Forced conversation about a terrible show

5/5

This is my new favorite podcast. I can’t wait for every new episode. And I can’t wait for season 2 to come out! I’m already watched the show twice!
This is going to be fun , educational and just the best to learn so much more about this extraordinary show of Bridgerton! 💜🐝
Not yet Feb 18th. At the time of writing this, I have heard only the intro to review. I imagine there will be significant insights into our current ethos by exploring this topic. My expectations are very positive. Also, I do appreciate this being advertised on a podcast I’ve long been subscribed to!
