Some of the best speakers in the game with thoughtful commentary on current events. Great chemistry between Jason and Santi, and between them and their speakers. Seriously, yoh just can’t go wrong with this podcast. I learn something new every time I listen.

Empire is a fantastic podcast for both seasoned crypto enthusiasts and new entrants to the space. They cover a myriad of interesting topics ranging from crypto to DeFi to NFTs, and everything in between. They have great guests and provide thought provoking content. Listening to Empire is always a good investment of my time. Keep up the great work!
This is one of my go to pod casts to get insight in to the news and players in the crypto space. They are also sprinkling in some great guests on macro economic and connecting it to crypto market. I also really like their historical riffs on the renaissance and American revolution and how those rhyme with what is happening in crypto. A+
‘Forward Guidance’ and ‘On the Margin’ focus on the macro climate, super valuable, but probably no better pod than ‘Empire’ if you’re looking for a weekly recap of what’s what in crypto, web3, and metaverse. And the alternating interviews offer some rare, big-picture perspectives from VCs and builders. I started with reading Blockworks online in 2021 but this podcast goes so so much deeper!
Every week I learn great new things from all the blockworks podcast but especially from Jason and Santiago on empire.
Each week they run down the latest in crypto news along with deep insights on interesting companies and topics with the people building in web3 and crypto at large.
Yes they can go into deep detail yes for new people it can be challenging at times but they do a great job at pulling back slowing down and giving you enough to follow along and help to understand the main concepts at times. Once you start listening you won’t want to stop learning about the people and concepts they are covering.
It just pushes you to read deeper into what blockworks is writing about for more information and research while listening provides that deep insight not found anywhere else.

I cannot tell you how much this pod has helped me understand the expansive and complex crypto and blockchain ecosystem. Jason and team have introduced me to so many concepts and orgs doing cool and innovative things. I would never be able to explain what a DAO is or what the use cases are of a NFT beyond art, or rather care about their transformative power, without them. They have been essential and I am grateful. Take a listen and you will definitely learn something new!

I’ve found myself doing that more than once with an Empire episode.
This was always a great pod, but now with Santiago on board it’s the absolute best IMO. Getting weekly insights from a guy with his VC background is simply invaluable. So happy to have this content available, it’s going to be a good 2022 :)

There’s so much noise in crypto, it’s innate to ownership model! Which is why you need someone like Jason Yanowitz to decide what feels like an endless amount of information in such a new industry. Couldn’t recommend more.
There are many interviewers in crypto who know what they are talking about. There are many who interview industry leaders.
What’s special about this podcast is Jason isn’t afraid to ask the difficult questions. He knows how to press his guests in a respectful manner in order to unlock nuanced perspectives that are rarely expressed by so polished of individuals.
Few are willing to push up against the boundaries in order to give the audience new content that can’t be found anywhere else.
