Reviews For Strange and Unexplained with Daisy Eagan

Been devouring all the episodes of this podcast over the past week. It’s hilarious and I love the host. Great stories with a refreshing take on the history of them.
Great stories and well researched. The topics vary and keep me entertained. Keep up the great work with this show.
Even when I’ve heard the story before, I stay for the episode because there hasn’t been a show that hasn’t had me laughing out loud at least once.
I don’t think I was 15 minutes into the first episode I listened to when I hit the follow button! You will too…
I’ve been listening to strange and unexplained with Daisy for four years now and it’s still my favorite weekly podcast! I even go back and listen to my old favorite episodes when there isn’t a new one. Daisy makes every episode so fun and interesting. Every week I’m instantly sucked in and dying for another episode. Thank you Daisy and team for such an awesome Podcast. -Emily from Scottsdale AZ

I’ve tried numerous times to just eye roll and ignore the incessant political diatribes that she inserts that are not even relevant to the story she is telling, but I had to draw the line with the Gloria Ramirez episode. As a nurse, it’s safe to say your ignorance really shined bright with this one. For the LOVE OF GOD either research before you create a podcast or just skip episodes concerning the medical field altogether. Such a bummer too because the premise of this podcast was promising.
Anything Daisy does, I’m in! I appreciate their talent for telling stories and the way they approach everything with understanding and compassion. And it doesn’t hurt that they make me laugh.
First-to the person (in an older comment)who thinks they know how to pronounce the word ‘tinnitus’-you are incorrect. It can be pronounced either ‘tin-uh-tis’ or ‘tin-itis’, but neither of your suggestions are correct. Please try researching it or ask an audiologist before you post next time. I enjoy Daisy’s podcast topics & her unique style. If you don’t, why do you listen? There are many true crime/paranormal podcasts to choose from. Daisy ~ regarding the recent commenter who has an issue with your “liberal bias” please keep being yourself and letting your liberal beliefs shine through. Your honesty and dry wit are refreshing! Keep being yourself!! Finally ~why no new podcasts?? Please keep them coming, they’re a source of fun & entertainment for us Strangers!! Go Daisy ! !👍✌🏻
Daisy! Stranger! I’m here for all of this! The interesting stories, and your take on them! Half the time I’m having the same reaction. I also appreciate you providing not just your own thoughts on each topic, but the multitude of theories that have been floated out there. Again - I’m here for it - so please keep bringing it!
I love Daisy Egans podcast, her commentary and humor reminds me of the old TV series Veronica Mar’s. I appreciate the wide range of mysteries she covers too. Definitely hooked!
I’ve enjoyed your podcast for awhile now- I’ve appreciated your dry sense of humor and dead pan jokes. I’ve also enjoyed your way of searching and explaining evidence that could show another side or explanation to the popular folklore and stories I’ve heard my whole life. You seemed so refreshingly open-minded, UNTIL, your casual inserts of obvious liberal bias have just become more and more unsettling. *sigh* I just wanted to listen to a podcast about weird & strange things without being reminded of our current political reality 😢 ✌🏼

I'm picky, searching out podcasts that can set the hook in my ear in 60 seconds. This was love at first listen. Love how Daisy delves into the mysterious and haunting subject matter with compassion, humor and life experience.
Can only say one word about this podcast. Fantastic!!! Good afternoon Daisy, Thank you for putting your wit, humor and time into this project! I look forward to new episodes and look back and giggle at the old ones. For the naysayers….it’s only a PODCAST but I digress.
She’s who you want to go to if you need a story told! She’s great! I highly suggest going to grab bag too she’s amazing on that!!

Daisy is awesome. Highly recommend joining GrabBagCollab on Patreon!
Such a good storyteller! I enjoy the humor and the swears and the creepy content. Well done!
i love your podcast daisy! do you think you could u do an episode on the bohemian grove please?
First of all when you speak to people for a living or hobby as I surmise this is, you need to learn how to pronounce words like “ensign,” “solder,” and, for the love of the English language, “February.” It’s not Feb-YOU-ary. You are extremely angry and offer up a poor gal’s version of NYC humor that Bethenny Frankel does best. For a raging liberal, many of your “facts” are completely wrong and misleading and laughably “fact checked.” I found you mildly amusing despite all of the aforementioned; however, my final straw was your attempt to rate-doxx Candace Owens. You are a deplorable human being. Your voice is one that should be heard LESS. P.S. I didn’t even touch on the horribly offensive, classist and racist voice acting.
Im proud of them for getting out of their past umbrella of podcasters, I just don’t like her style of storytelling. She tries to have a dry wit but she’s not funny. She’s mostly snarky, not witty. She doesn’t do her homework so I find it hard to believe anything she says. An example, she didn’t know that a doctor of osteopathy (DO) is a licensed physician that has all the same medical privileges as a medical doctor (MD). They go to residency and have a speciality just like MD’s do. That’s fine not everyone knows that. But google it. Don’t say you don’t know they can be surgeons and say you’re confused and don’t understand but not to @ you with explanations because you don’t care. That’s just laziness. What other facts were you lazy about digging up?
I’ve been a listener for quite sometime and enjoy her paranormal content. She does a deep dive and provides good information. I also love her voice. Perfect for podcasting.
Used to be entertaining. However, the constant man bashing, mocking religion and God has gotten most tiresome. Unfollowed/unsubscribed.
The host goes over some weird stuff in our world with a good sense of humor. It’s a one sided conversation but somehow you feel included in it. They talk about stuff that you can research on your own that’s just so weird. I often find myself asking, “Why aren’t more people looking into this?!” It’s such a great show, worth a listen at least once.

Love her wry humor!
I have been a loyal listener for a year or more. I’ve listened to the episode on Simulation Theory multiple times and sent it to all my friends. I love her voice, her humor, her unique take on things, her catchphrases. I am generally fascinated with strange and unexplained things, but even when the content of a particular episode doesn’t really grab me, Daisy finds a way to make - and keep - it interesting. Always looking forward to the next one!
The host is sort of mean-spirited, narrow-minded, and intolerant. Kind of a goofy show but the hateful ignorance of the host makes it a tough listen. Take a history class ( from a historian).
Daisy is great, I love her dry humor and storytelling.

Just a fun and quirky podcast that I break up all the true crime and death with.
Interesting podcast. Host is very caring. I’ve been listening for a while but didn’t post a review sooner, so sorry. You deserve 5 stars.
Daisy is a joy to listen to - clever, but empathetic - accessible, yet still feels like she’s speaking directly to you. She’s like that best friend who always has fascinating stories for you, and leaves you feeling entertained and a bit smarter than you were before. I love myself a true crime or paranormal podcast, but Daisy’s open minded skepticism avoids some of the tropes that plague other shows. I’ve loved every episode!
She’s a racist liberal
Best. Ep. Ever.
Interesting, funny and so well written. Daisy is an amazing writer and all of the voice acting is just *chef’s kiss.* Please don’t hold the antics of the network’s owners against Daisy. She’s under contract!
The episode about the mighty Mac is entertaining, maybe but it also has plenty of speculation on the part of the host. If a vehicle weighs 2000 pounds and has the profile of an enormous RV, it would be affected by medium to heavy wins. If a 2000 pound ball of lead was rolling across the bridge. It might not feel the effects of the wind. For the host to put everything into a pretty little box for the sake of this podcast is maybe too simple. These are not thoroughly Researched and produced episodes.
I am definitely a Stranger! Absolutely love this podcast. Tell everyone about this podcast when they want something different from true crime but some how stay near the genre. Hope to see them keep coming!
This show should and could be great. I’ve tried many times to listen but I can very rarely get past the first few minutes before I have to turn it off. If you like insufferably snarky liberal commentary mixed in with a podcast that is theoretically apolitical then this is the podcast for you. I can’t because she irritates me too much. Lest one think they know my politics from this review, I also get irritated with Joe Rogan and others on the right. Everyone seems to be crazy these days and unafraid to let everyone know it. Truly strange and unexplained
Great content, and Daisy is a great listen. My only hang up is that she always lets you know what side of the political aisle she’s on. It hasn’t alienated me but I can see how it will others. She might not care though and I respect that too.
Host, show, music. Many good podcasts w/ insufferable hosts, shame. Many good shows with irritating sound effects. All of the episodes are good. Some are amazing. The host is authentic, creative and charismatic.
Funny, smart, irreverent, thoughtful, and just plain great. Hooray for Grab Bag Collaboration and kindness above all!
I am such a Stranger! I adore Daisy and all of the research and the fantastic asides. Thank you for being you, Daisy! A must listen!! 💖
I love this podcast, I love Daisy. She makes you feel like you’re listening to a very empathic friend and the stories are soothing and easy to listen to. I love that you can pick this show up at any point because each story is it’s own and re-listening is just as easy and soothing. Also, Daisy has a Tony Award.
The too frequent personal asides are not very interesting or are all that amusing. It gets in the way of telling a good story. Save the asides for laugh out loud funny only and move on. Tighten it up.
Recently discovered the show and have been binging like crazy. Daisy is the perfect mix of sassy, smart, sarcastic, and compassionate. Keep up the great work!
This is my favorite podcast to listen to during the day when I am sitting on the computer. I love it!!! I wish there were more!
I’ve tried for a long time to give this podcast as chance but the “staircases in the woods” episode finally put me off completely. The no sleep Reddit is literally a subreddit for realistic scary stories that are meant to be taken as reality even though everyone knows they aren’t. If you had taken just a second to just research the subreddit you wouldn’t be so confused why she didn’t tell everyone it was fake. That’s the entire point of that subreddit. Do better. Your listeners shouldn’t know more than you, especially when it is something as simple as looking at the rules of the place you found this story.

Let me start off by saying I think daisy is a great story teller and I enjoy the subjects she discusses each week however, I really wish daisy would withstand from interesting her political views into every subject the chance she gets… if she were to just speak unbiased and not so judgmental and political at times.. it would be a 10/10. Nonetheless she is one of my favorites regardless of the constant political opinion inputs.
The stories are interesting and her voice is pleasant, but there are a lot of eye roll moments as she seems to try too hard to make a snarky joke. Id personally prefer she just stuck to the stories, but I still tune in occasionally when an episode catches my eye.
Daisy, leaves much to be desired for a story teller. She constantly inserts political commentary, her progressive ideologies, and often victim shaming or belittling the listener for having any views outside her narrow mind. Seems like she’s getting worse with the pandering too. It’s become my guilty pleasure to listen now.
