Reviews For Build to Last

I just came across this episode, and wow! I was trying not to be lengthy here, but oh well. This is what I have for you: I one hundred percent agree with Kyrah. Kaelin, you didn’t listen to understand. God tells husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the church AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR IT (Ephesians 5:25 - my emphasis). Ephesians 4:32 says “be ye KIND (my emphasis) to one another, TENDERHEARTED (my emphasis) forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” I didn’t see that happening at all! And of course, you have Corinthians that says love is not puffed up, which you were. God surely didn’t and doesn’t treat any of us like this when we go to him broken and hurting, and we could be dead wrong! Let’s just say that a more mature woman, Christian or not, would not have let that happen. Oh, and Kyrah, I hope that you also remember these scriptures when you don’t agree with Kaelin. 🙂
I love this podcast so much. My girlfriend and I always drive around listening to it and relate on so many levels to you guys. Keep going and never stop this is blessing to ears!!
Love this podcast! My husband and I just moved to DFW and it’s sooo hard finding friends here ! Just listened to the friendship episode and I can relate so much ! Very happy that you guys have found a community❤️
Had to review again because this podcast just keeps getting better!! The conversations they have just flow and are about everyday things that I also discuss. The episode on intrusive thoughts aligned exactly with how I’ve been feeling!
I absolutely love how open and honest y’all are. Keep it up, you have tons of people who agree with you!! Love it
so I just finished listening to your podcast on the recent Roe v. Wade bill… I have heard another argument. And I’m wondering your thoughts on it! So you may know some couples in your life who have fertility issues. and those couples may have looked into or have already proceeded with the IVF process… And I would like to know if you are supportive of them in this process. But mainly I want to know, if you believe that life begins at conception, what are your thoughts on all of the unused and frozen embryos that a couple and the gynaecologist will make during the IVF process. Because technically if there are leftover embryos that never get used, they are also being rid of the “life experience” which you said is synonymous with being murdered. No hate towards y’all at all! I just have recently heard this argument and really would like to hear your opinion!
This podcast is fun and extremely insightful. I love hearing their perspective. It’s refreshing and relatable. I truly believe their voices are a blessing to this generation! 🤍
I really enjoy this podcast, it’s a nice balance of humor and serious conversation. I appreciate Kaelin for bringing up challenging questions and not being passive, this allows us as the audience to think in a deeper way. I also like Kyrah’s authenticity. The two together are a dynamic duo. Ive been listening for a while now and it’s refreshing to hear things from a christian perspective, love that you guys incorporate the faith . Let’s keep growing together. 🤍

I like the podcast but Kaelin sounds condescending towards Kyrah often. Especially in this recent episode. I do like their takes though.
Though I rarely leave reviews, especially on the podcast app. I just want to let you know that I absolutely love every single episode that is posted and I appreciate the transparency from you both! You both are shaking up the industry and we need more people like you! Keep doing what you are doing, giving God all the glory! ❤️
I really enjoy listening to you both have opened discussion while also having differences in views. Been a supporter for years now so I’m enjoying this aspect of the journey! It seems like I’m having a conversation with y’all and laughing along with you too😂. I love the statement of growing together and y’all truly push that narrative so thank you 🤗♥️
I am a 15 year old black Christian girl who loves watching couple channels. In the beginning of 2021 I decided to filter out what I watched on YouTube by unsubscribing to all the non-Christian YouTubers I had subscribed to. The reason I did this was because they were mostly horny couples who lit up teenage hormones in me more than I needed to experience. However, the love for watching couples never went away. A bond between couples is such a tight, beautiful, and intriguing thing to me and I didn’t want to give that up. I decided I would replace horny couples with Christian ones(content-wise). So I went to Google and tested out the Christian couple videos I found. Among which being Kaelin and Kyrah. The first videos I saw from them were their storytimes. I instantly fell in love with them for their honesty, communication levels, individuality, faith-based perspectives, and journey. My favorite videos of them are when they just sit down and talk. It doesn’t matter if they make an hour long video, I’ll watch the whole thing. So of course, I was excited when I found out about this podcast. This podcast literally gives you honest conversations between two people who live together, who are working together on multiple levels(parenting, business, personal battles, finances, life), and who are willing to be completely transparent with one another. Their sit down videos display this beautifully on YouTube but this podcast does so rawly(if that’s a word). Listening to this podcast gives us the unedited conversations between these two children of God as they grow and influence us to grow with them. I recommend this podcast to not only Christian couples but anyone. You don’t have to be Christian to agree with some of the things they talk about or in a relationship. And when it comes to the relationship advice they do extend, you can receive it at every age. If you actually read this entire “essay”, thank you. Also, please consider listening to this podcast and growing with this couple.
I’m soo happy you guys are back! I’m glad you both got some rest! Welcome back, the month of January wasn’t the same with out y’all!
I am not religious, yet I learn so much! This podcast is amazing and I’m in need of season 2!
I came here from YouTube. I’m a fan after I came across Kyrah in 2020 during the Pandemic. I was a newer mom in a hard point in life and her videos gave me good feels. So I graduated to the podcast when it came. Now I’m here, and the first few episodes I honestly wasn’t feeling and was a bit disappointed. I stopped listening. I came back weeks later just to check in. I started at newer episodes and was like ok, these conversations, I’m feeling. I think they found their rhythm. Now I’m listening in reverse and I’m not disappointed so far.
I love Kaelin and Kyrah! The episodes are so genuine and the conversations are relatable 🤎
This podcast has really spoke a lot to me & I really thank God for using you guys to speak to those who may really need it (including myself). I am learning a lot and along with reading my bible, this is very informative and refreshing. Thank you guys again ❤️. PS. I have been following you guys for years lol, I am enjoying the journey. Now I just have to get the book!
This podcast is so refreshing! I enjoy listening weekly! I put in my AirPods and clean while my baby naps and I’m able to gather all the gems! I been waiting for a podcast like this. Honest open marriage and christian valued. I mean i love all types of podcast but this one feeds my soul… thank you!
This podcast has been a part of my routine. I’m so proud of you two. Without the video I was able to focus on what you both were saying and I loved hearing Kyrah’s boldness. The world and algorithm is fighting for video attention, and I’ve found myself migrating from video to audio only to sort thoughts and truly reflect or engage. Personally I listen to and stay more updated with the podcasts vs. YouTube. With the time I have, I’m able to listen to it in the car, on walks, or in transition from one place to another. I suggest audio only podcasts for now: Benefits: you can record at any time you can be more comfortable the only factors are sound Disadvantages: you may feel limited in “creating” I also suggest continuing through with the podcasts and not seasonal: Benefits: -you can update us real time and exclude important details new releases in real time -You don’t have to track if you updated us on x,y,or z. -one less platform to create continual visual content creation Disadvantages: -you might feel like you’re running out of powerful content (but I love to hear the two of you)… -batching content and preparing for vacations/other responsibilities and business moves Going seasonal: Advantages: -anticipation and appreciation for each episode -long term supporters that (for the most part) want to see what the good you’re doing and support Disadvantages: -I’ll be hurt 😅 -losing followers because there is no relationship management (on the podcast) -you have to prepare harder to recap all that we missed out on and it may feel like you’re still living in the past and playing catch up Loving you both Kaelin and Kyrah, May God bless your obedience and give you strategy in Jesus name 🤎 Enjoy your break and own your decision.
I love listening to you guys, the open honesty, the mistakes, the laughing and learning it’s so beautiful. I have took so much and learned a lot from both you 🙂. I enjoy it . Take a break if needed and come back when you’re ready. I’m here for whatever y’all discuss. It’s beautiful to see a young Christian married do the wonderful things . God bless 🤍
I’ve followed Kaelin and Kyrah’s journey for years on YouTube (like early, early days!) and their growth isn’t just a tagline. I’ve seen notable growth and change in both of them for the better, and it is refreshing. Their podcast is one of my top 5 that if I don’t see a new episode appear in my listen-to feed, I’m not happy! 😂 SO, Kaelin and Kyrah, pleeeeease bring on season 2! I love the candidness of the conversations. I appreciate how you work through disagreements instead of just agreeing with each other for appearance’s sake. I also don’t mind hour long episodes (hint, hint!). Let’s KEEP growing together. ☺️ P.S. Do we really have to wait until late Q1/early Q2??? 🤔🤪
Hey guys! As a young, married christian I just want to say that your podcast has been a BLESSING to me. I’ve tried to stop listening to rap and toxic YouTube content that clouds my mind… and your podcast has been the perfect alternative. Please keep it intimate!!!!! No video…. I think you all are more comfortable that way and the conversation is more fluent and easy going.

I love love love these podcast I feel like I know you guys more. And that recent episode was the best especially at the end I felt that! Y’all have always been super open and I love the way y’all discuss topics and stuff. It almost feels like I’m getting a different side of both of you. But anyways keep the pod cast coming I'm loving them. And I never listen to podcast until y’all’s. And don’t change anything about it.
Hi guys! I am a podcast junkie! But I say yes to video, because I would like to see the reactions between you two of the topics you talk about. Ben living the podcast so far. ❤️

Honestly I love the podcast without video! I don’t think we should transition to with video. You guys already film yourselves and this feels a lot different.
AMAZING! This is my podcast. I listen every Tuesday morning — it’s the best way to start my day. Thank you for being young, black, Christian, married role models. Don’t add video if it’s going to delay production! Keep the content coming. Love y’all!
If you guys want video I think we would love video! Just because we love seeing you guys BUT if you guys are more comfortable/ less stressful I love the audio only! So sad for the break but you guys deserve it !! Happy holidays!
I love listening to the podcast every week. My Tuesdays are dedicated to podcast, so I want more and more. I would prefer just the audio because I like it’s easier to multitask by just listening and doing daily task. I’m low-key heartbroken about the break, but I am excited for more. Plus, breaks are good and can improve creative spaces. Let’s keep growing together!
i love how casual this podcast is! I look forward to listening to you guys every Tuesday on my way to work! I personally think its more convenient to listen rather than watch a video version. Low key without structure is such a vibe! No matter what it will be great. Cant wait to see whats to come 🤍
I can hear you guys all day!! So long go episodes are where it’s at!!! Love you guys! I currently moved out here in Idaho! I had to replay that part when I heard you guys say that! You guys stay safe and May God keep blessing you guys and family! Happy Holidays!!!
First of all, I had to look high and low just to post this review! I couldn’t find the review section lol. Y’all just had to get my 5 stars. I LOVEEEEEE this podcast. Over this past year, my husband and I had our first child and I’ve honestly went through so many changes mentally with becoming a new mom. I learned how much I loved listening to certain podcasts that just fill my spirit up and when I found out you guys were going to have your own podcast I almost fell out!! If I don’t listen to y'all's weekly podcast I just feel like my life is completely out of whack lol. It’s the honesty and the love you both share through Christ for me ❤️ I have been watching you both for years now. And let me just tell you the episode you guys dropped about “the conversation we weren’t supposed to hear” touched me to the core. Thanks for being so transparent and growing with us as people. It’s good to know that we aren’t going through things alone and I have learned many valuable lessons from listening to you all’s podcast. Continue to be great and allow God to use you both. You guys have a light that shines so bright!
I’m only 20 but I have been watching Kaelin and Kyrah for years now. I love how boldly they stand in their faith but are also open to growth! They offer great advice for any one of any age but especially younger people such as myself. God bless them :)
“Do what you think you can’t” -Episode 24 Imma just leave that right here. God bless y’all. It may not look like it to you all, but best believe you’re inspiring a lottt of people, including myself, to continue our walk with God, to keep trusting and obeying Him. You’re visually showing us what it looks like to have a real relationship with Christ in an authentic manner that is so inspiring and motivating to us because it is relatable. Thank you for persevering. Thank you for believing in God when it’s (at times) hard to. Thank you for not giving up. Thank you for having the audacity to hope when all else fails or even in the midst of doubt. And most importantly, thank you for sharing your stories with us! And sowing seeds in our lives that allow us to learn and grow and in turn, sow into the lives of other people we meet! Keep believing in God and keep going. God can do everything but fail. This is just the start! We are all supporting you and believing in the God in you! You’re all in my prayers!✨

I love this podcast ! I’ve enjoyed watching y’all grow and stand true to who God has called both of you to be in purpose and on purpose. It’s also knowing that there are young adults out there that view life as I do. I just love it !
Been following for years since the very beginning. Y’all really my friends. Even though you don’t know me. This podcast has become apart of my daily /weekly routine. I’m listening every morning 7:00 am , on my way too work. Im a growing Christian decided to give my life to Christ & live the perfect will he has for my life. & Getting rid of the things I used to do in my past , & one of the things i was struggling with was listening to certain secular music. I thought maybe I should start listening to podcast to replace the music. & I remembered you guys have one & I’ve been stuck ever since . I can totally relate with you guys cause we’re the same age, parents & we’re all followers of Christ. I love y’all & this podcast. I laugh & talk with y’all ,It feels like a secret society in here no cap.
Really enjoying the candid conversations between you two!
I love the podcast! Instead of listening to music while driving my husband and I listen to the Growing Together podcast! I love the topics and also something that opens our minds to new thoughts and ideas! ❤️❤️ Keep up the amazing work!
I definitely love the longer podcasts just because I love to hear you both talk. And you have such great things to say. But I also understand that y’all have things to do. So, love the longer podcasts, but also very grateful that y’all post in general.
Kaelin and Kyrah have been great, real, authentic, Christian role models to my girlfriend and I. While I don’t really keep up with the YouTube content this podcast has been amazing in so many different ways. As a Christian myself I am learning everyday about God and getting closer to Him and this podcast has been a great motivator and supporter to my journey now and in the future. I appreciate Kaelin for being honest and open with his views and it has challenged me at times and while it made me uncomfortable, it just meant it was something I needed to hear so I could confront it and make my life better for it. I look forward to many more episodes especially about their real estate journey since I’m a newly licensed agent myself but finding myself struggling to get my business off the ground. God bless y’all and keep it up!
I can’t wait for more episodes !! I love the hour podcast! Please keep them that long !
I’m here to fight for the hour because as soon as I clicked on the episode and saw that it didn’t hit the hour mark I was already sad 😭. Come to find out at the end of the episode that you were testing us lolll. No no keep that hour respectfully (:
This is my 1st review I listen every week and today’s notification popped up and I seen 38 minutes I said ughh why so short then upon finishing kaelin mentioned it being short and I’m sitting here like is he in my head lol we need an hour + every week!
The park argument had me dyinggg. The whole kitchen sink being thrown was hilarious, but I still agree with Kyrah 😂 I think I would be the “non fun” parents too, happily. I think #20 was one of my favorite episode.

Love love love! Being from the same city as Kaelin & Kyrah, same age, and also having two boys I feel as though I can relate to them. Lately I have been in a rut, where it has effected me mentally, physically and spiritually. And just listening to this podcast makes me feel better. I feel like we’re friends lol. Thank you two for the amazing content and for always being yourselves.
I'm not even sure if you guys meant for episode 21 to hit as hard as it did but wooooooooow. The entire episode helped me to feel seen and encouraged me to sort things out starting today.
Been watching you guys since you were dating in high school and I am so proud of the growth! This podcast is my fav. I admire how maturely you guys tackle these conversations and how honest and open you are with your opinions. God is super proud! Keep the episodes coming!
Hello guys! I really enjoy podcast a lot and I listen to it while i’m at work and it makes my shift fly by! I would love a podcast episode on your beliefs regarding controversial topics!! Like let’s get really real lol looking forward to more episodes!
I’ve already rated the podcast but I wanted to tell y’all the tea I found about the enneagram. I have my bachelors in psych so I’m all about personality tests. But, something just ain’t feel right about the enneagram. So, I did my research and I found out that it was created by an occultist named Georges I. Gurdjieff. I don’t believe any Christian should subscribe to that mess. I admonish you to do your research too!
